The Washroom Vanity Company
Low Carbon Farming is dedicated to decreasing agricultural carbon emissions in Britain through the implementation of advanced greenhouse heating systems. This initiative aims to promote more sustainable food production. The company's inaugural sites in Norfolk and Suffolk are projected to generate 360 new employment opportunities. Spanning 70 acres, the greenhouses will have the capacity to yield 12% of the UK’s tomatoes while achieving a remarkable 75% reduction in carbon footprint.Working with contractor LPL Construction Services at the Suffolk location, we needed to implement a washroom solution that would be both hygienic and robust. Given the nature of the tasks carried out, which often involves manual work, a thorough hand wash is essential. However, this frequently results in splashing, highlighting the necessity for a more spacious hand wash area. Our WT1 Sloping Thermoformed Wash Troughs were selected in the elegant Quartz Grey colourway for the project. These wash troughs are designed with a thermoformed body that has minimal joints, making cleaning effortless and significantly enhancing hygiene standards. The nonporous, durable solid surface material ensures that the wash troughs can endure the demands of daily use and frequent cleaning, making them a dependable and long-lasting solution. The wash troughs were chosen to be supported with Cantilever Brackets, which not only provides a sleek and modern look but also allows for easy cleaning of the area underneath. To enhance the hand wash station, Deva Sensor Taps were pre-plumbed into the wash troughs. These sensor taps are designed to promote maximum user hygiene delivering water without touch. Additionally, the automatic shut-off feature of the sensor taps contributes to reducing water consumption, making them an excellent choice for the site that prioritises environmental sustainability.
