This CPD presentation provides critical information on how fire doors and ironmongery should be installed on site. It does this through video presentations which take the installation from the site preparation through to final certification and sign off. This paired with slides that provide supplementary information on standards and best practice relating to fire door testing and installation. This seminar will focus on the impact of accessibility on the specification of ironmongery looking at the following areas:- Legislation, including - Equality Act- BS 8300: 2009- Approved Documents and their equivalents throughout the UK and Ireland. - It will look at the impact of BS 8300 specifically on products such as - door closers - door furniture - hardware such as hinges locks and panic hardware- access control product- handrail

This seminar looks at the specification of ironmongery for specialist applications.
