This CPD will guide architects through the key points to build a ventilated façade, the use of wood on exteriors, and the explanation of a solution with real wood veneer that does not change over time and does not require maintenance for the use on ventilated façades. All this taking in account fire regulations and sustainability key points on material choose. By the end of this CPD, delegates ought to be able to: 1. Plan a ventilated facade. 2. Know which fire regulations apply to facades in the UK. 3. Know more about different installation systems. 4. Be able to choose real wood products for exterior applications with different performances. 5. Have an overview of sustainability matters on the choose of materials.

This CPD will inform you on Timber claddings that fulfil the requirements set on the UK Fire Regulations, Approved document B, requirement B4.
