New build project of Aluminium Windows, MFP18 Sliding Doors, Structural Glass Roof Systems and Bespoke size Fixed Rooflights.

Minimal Frame Projects

The Developers of this large Detached property wanted to install new Minimal Framed Systems & Architectural Glazing throughout the development to form two properties. The Systems proposed to the Architect & the Developers were an ideal match to achieve the end-game result required. The chosen systems were used to improve the insulation capacity and reduce heat loss & high security at the same time while allowing all these product solutions to allow the natural light to flood into the property. After discussing the correct configurations and options with the Architect & Developer, they decided that the best choice would be to have a 3-section MFP18 Sliding Door System, that boasts an 18mm vertical sightline, still allowing each panel of glass to cover the size of 18sqm if required..The Frameless Structural Glass Roof System that is supported by structural glass beamsis a stunning feature to allows the light in and still keeps the room temperature in the summer down inside and then retains the heat in the winter, by the use of different coatings on the glass also taking into consideration the Fixed Rooflights that work in the same principal as the Structural Glass Roof System. The Aluminium windows being fixed, top hung casements, and also vertically sliding windows all comply with current building regulations with thermal efficiency and security. And having all the elements in the same RAL Colour RAL 7016m it brings consistency through the project and everything is uniformed, which then helps with the Decor and internal and external finishing of the project. The Front Door Configuration, which was bespoke made to the required sizes, by a leading manufacturers throughout the UK & Europe for this project, fully insulated and reinforced and meeting the latest building regulation requirements. At the front of the property, we installed a reinforced Front door system, with fully glazed side panels on either side of the door, this then matches the new aluminium casement window above with how it is divided, so it matches through and looks symmetrical with the profiles. To feature a combination design with matching sidelights to optimise natural light intake. The door is configured to open inwards into the room with a flush threshold for ease and self drains.Moving to the rear of the property, We also installed Minimal Frame large glazed Structural glass roof sections, again it is split into 3 ao again it lines through with the MFP18 which is also split into 3 sections lining through to give a stunning look.

For this property renovation project, The Minimal Frame Projects team travelled to Westbourne Green. Located just off the A40 motorway and not to far from Notting Hill in London. This popular area with people working in and around the city, has easy access to travel to many different locations in London and is a modern and vibrant area. We carried out a refurbishment project of Composite Windows & Minimal Frame Sliding Doors. The owners of this large, Semi-Detached property wanted to install new windows throughout their home to improve insulation capacity and reduce heat loss & high security. After discussing the options with the Client and the Architect, they decided that the best choice would be Velfac 200E and MFP20 Aluminium sliding door systems.Velfac is one of the glazing industry’s leading composite window manufacturers in the UK & Europe. For this project, we used Velfac 200E, which is a triple-glazed system with a modern aluminium finish externally and a timber finish on the inside of a chosen finish. The MFP20 Aluminium Sliding doors are a double-glazed high-efficiency system that can achieve widths of 3000mm and heights up to 3000mm per panel also with a flush track and multi -point locking it also has many configurations including being able to have a sliding open corner. At the rear of the property, we installed a set of Aluminium French doors that match the new window profiles. The French doors feature a combination design with matching side lights to optimise natural light intake. The French doors are configured to open outwards onto the patio area to ensure that interior floor space is not impacted by the doors when open.Staying at the rear of the property, We also installed Minimal Frame large glazed Structural glass sections. The large Structural glazed units are designed to cover large areas to allow in the light, and to also help with solar gain in the Summer and also to retain the heat in the colder months.

Refurbishment project of Fixed & Automated Flat Roof lights in Billericay

Minimal Frame Projects

The owners of this large, Detached property wanted to install some type of glazed solution to allow natural light into their stunning new refurbished home. After discussing the options of how to allow natural light to flow in with the Client and the Architect, they decided that the best choice would be our MFP Fixed & Automated Flat Roof light systems. Our industry-leading Roof light system is manufactured in the UK. For our projects, We used for the fixed units Triple glazed units so that we could offer security and an overall U-value that meets & exceeds current building regulations we also applied a solar control finish to the glass so that for in the summer months, it helps to keep the rooms cooler and, in the winter, helps retain the heat inside the property. The bespoke Automated Roof lights have the same glass specification as the fixed roof lights, yet they can be opened by a hard-wired wall switch or by a key fob giving you flexibility in how to open the roof lights.Over the complete roof of the property, we installed twelve roof lights, six fixed and six automated, from above, they all look the same, so the profile and the internal look all match.Once the internal finishes are completed it will give you a frameless look.A feature of the automated roof lights is that as a default factory setting, they open to 300mm so that it's enough for airflow and ventilation, yet also bearing in mind security also.Out of the six automated roof lights, there is one that allows roof access which opens to 90 degrees for any maintenance works if required.
