Meristem worked with Derby City Council to install innovative pocket parks, planters, and bike corrals across multiple locations in Derby. Funded by the Government’s Future Transport Zones Fund, the project features six pocket parks, nine bike corrals, and other green infrastructure, with a focus on improving public spaces and creating more accessible, eco-friendly areas within the city.Goal The primary goal was to transform unused or underutilised spaces into welcoming, functional, and sustainable community hubs.
