Maple is a leading designer, manufacturer and installer of solar shading, weather protection and screening for building exteriors and interiors. Since 1983, we’ve been combining innovation, technical excellence and exceptional customer service to deliver projects that save energy, create visual impact and make buildings more comfortable for their occupants.
Our Approach
Collaboration - We work with architects, contractors and suppliers to get under the skin of every project from Day One.
Consultation – We’re experts in our field and share our knowledge to achieve success - we care about every project as much as our clients do.
Delivery - We make sure every concept is buildable and can be manufactured and installed safely - on time and on budget.
Rainscreen Cladding
Rainscreen cladding systems are designed to perform well in a number of areas. Firstly, as the name suggests, they must protect the exterior of buildings from the weather. They must also improve thermal performance (reducing heat loss and saving energy), meet fire and combustibility standards, and improve a building’s appearance... all within a commercially viable solution for clients.
As well as meeting the latest fire-safety standards, our system has been through stringent CWCT lab-testing and has been designed to BS8414:2 2020 standards. But what exactly is rainscreen cladding, and what should you be thinking about when specifying it for a building project? Read more about how rainscreen cladding works

Architectural Façades
Architectural façades enhance the aesthetic of buildings by using different designs and methods of manufacture. As well as being aligned to clients’ visions and budgets, it is important that architectural façade systems – whether made up of solid panels, vertical fins or expanded mesh - comply with building and fire regulations.
Maple's in-house design and pre-construction team carries out desktop simulation, detailed calculations and real-life lab tests to ensure our systems are fire-safe and structurally sound.

Architectural façade - solid panels
Solid architectural panels provide an effective solution to a buildings envelope design. A panel system can be customised to meet the design specification for a project, including colour, finish and shape. Panels can be square, rectangle or curved and are coated or anodised with corrosion protection.

Architectural façade - perforated panel
Our perforated architectural panels can be created in aluminium or Corten steel. Each aluminium or Corten façade panel is perforated according to the custom design of the façade. Installation is fast and efficient thanks to Maple's engineered bracket design.
Each perforated façade panel can be colour-treated to meet the concept design theme – and all panels are bi-metallic corrosion protected.
Other options include image perforation which allow the pattern of the holes to replicate a picture or theme.

Architectural façade - fins positioned vertically or horizontally
Linear façades are a good way to add an architectural feature to a building envelope. Each blade can be positioned vertically or horizontally. There is also a range of material specifications that can be used to align to your concept designs.

Architectural façade - twisted fin
Twisted fins can be configured to meet the different aspects of any design brief. The angle and position of the twist, orientation and overall pattern can all be designed to meet the most exacting requirements of any façade.
In car park projects, Maple's twisted fin façade blades have a spring-load mechanism to counter the natural building movement and retain the blade pattern and positioning. We also offer a range of materials to provide a shine or colour option.

Climate Façade
Aurora - Effective performance with advanced aerofoil blades
Maple’s Aurora brise soleil system provides effective solar shading as well as visual impact on a range of glazed buildings. Based on horizontal aerofoil blades, the system incorporates strong structural design and concealed fixings to provide seamless lines across long spans. Brise soleil blades (between 100mm and 1,200mm wide) are available in aluminium or timber, and can be provided in modular cassette form for efficient off-site construction.
Features
Corona - advanced architectural design with a rectangular blade
The Corona climate façade concept is built on an intelligent thermal model. Air circulates behind the façade louvres to create a movement of cool air that crosses the glazed area. The resulting 'cooling' effect reduces solar gain in the interior of the building. The system is available with solid or perforated, timber and motor driven blades.
Features
Ventilation Louvres
Our louvre screening system conceals unsightly roof plant areas and enhances building exteriors. At the same time, the screening louvres can provide protection from water ingress without preventing airflow to equipment and machinery. A unique clipping system enables quick and easy assembly on site with no risk of bi-metallic reaction.

Ventilation Louvres
Ventilation louvres are designed to provide protection from water ingress for projects that also need a flow of air to enter the building. Depending on the level of protection required, Maple can create a single, double or triple bank ventilation louvre design. Chevron and acoustic options are also available, while louvred doors can be designed into the system.
