The Pfeifer VS Loop Box System is normally used to connect precast panels together. Wire loops are housed inside steel boxes which form pockets in the edges of precast panels. Removing the cover releases the loops so they project into the joint between panels and overlap with loops in the adjoining panel. Vertical reinforcement is passed through loops and free-flowing grout is used to bond the connection and seal the joint. VS boxes are available in different loop formats and lengths. PENTAFLEX KB® metal water bars are fully coated on both sides with a special coating to provide reliable waterproofing at concrete joints. The bond between the special coating and new concrete prevents water infiltrating the joint and an embedment depth of 30 mm is enough to withstand water pressure of up to 5.0 bar. The high elasticity of the coating ensures reliable sealing when the concrete structural components shrink. PENTAFLEX KB® units are typically supplied in 2m lengths with a choice of 167 mm or 80 mm widths. The bonding surfaces are protected with a film on both sides that is only removed immediately before concreting. Evaluated in ETA/09-0338 JORDAHL® JTA anchor channel range comprises JTA W hot-rolled, and JTA K cold rolled profiles. Both types of anchor channels are used with simple twist-in T-bolts to provide safe and adjustable connections to concrete structures for the resistance of tension and shear loads. JTA K cold rolled anchor channels give an efficient method of connecting predominantly static loads. The H-BAU ISOMUR® PLUS wall base insulation system is designed to create a thermal break between the base of an internal wall and its foundation. Available in a range of sizes the H-BAU ISOMUR® PLUS system replaces the bottom course of internal masonry to thermally insulate the internal walls and reduce the risk of heat loss, condensation and mould growth. If the foundation of the building is not insulated, the internal walls built on top of it will create a breach in the thermal envelope of the building.
