The user simply downloads the app, registers for a space, is granted accessibility via the back office and then can access their chosen hangar within seconds. Falco recently took to the design, manufacture, supply and installation of a bespoke cycle hub based on the traditional FalcoLok-500 design. Installed at Anson House, south Westminster, in view of the River Thames, the new cycle hub has been coupled with the FalcoVert-Pro cycle rack to provide secure accommodate for up to 24 bikes.Installed on behalf of Westminster City Council, the new cycle hub features electrogalvanised perforated sheet cladding, powder coated in a Jet Black RAL colour, along with a secure access system.The whole shelter is a bespoke contemporary design of the classic FalcoLok-500 shelter, which features clean lines through the glass cladding and supported by stainless steel glass clamps. The steelwork is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 and also meets UK structural design laws with EN 1090 accreditation. Falco recently manufactured, supplied and installed four bays of FalcoSpan cycle canopy for the new £15m Ellesmere Port Sports Leisure Village in Cheshire!The FalcoSpan cycle canopy was chosen for it’s light and spacious design providing maximum accessibility but great cycle coverage. The shelter was powder coated in RAL 9005 Jet Black to both increase durability and match the colour scheme of the leisure centre. Additionally hard wood cladding was added to the legs to soften the feel of the shelters and maintain a coherent theme of the overall design. The development has been co-funded by Sport England on the site of the former Stanney High School and is home to a new purpose built sports and leisure facilities including an 8no lane 25m pool, separate teaching pool, 8 court sports hall to National Premier League Basketball standards with 1400 retractable seats, dance and exercise studios, gymnasium, spinning zone, wet and dry changing areas and café. The new state-of-the-art development is part of a £70m investment in leisure facilities across the borough.

This is the latest cycle hub designed, manufactured, supplied and installed by Falco for Fairfield General Hospital in Bury, Greater Manchester. Installed on behalf of Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation trust, the cycle hub is based on the flagship FalcoLok design and provides staff, visitors and patients to the hospital with secure cycle parking for up to 28 bikes.The FalcoLevel-Premium+ two-tier cycle racks are housed within a 6m x 4m version of the FalcoLok-500 cycle hub, complete with easy access automatic power doors, motion sensor LED lighting, helmet lockers, bespoke branding graphics and powder coating in an NHS blue RAL colour. Falco designed, manufactured and installed the new e-Cargo bike storage hangars for the UK’s first e-cargo bike share scheme launched this week in Hackney. Operated by Beryl bikes on behalf of Hackney Council, the scheme is the first of its kind in the UK offering public cargo bike hire.The specially designed FalcoCargoBoxes are fitted with the new FalcoSmart locking-app which is linked to the Beryl booking app enabling users to hire one of the brand new e-cargo bikes and open the cargo hangar with their phone.The scheme was launched in Stoke Newington on ‘World Car-free Day’ as part of the tri-borough Zero Emissions Network (ZEN) of Hackney, Islington and Tower Hamlets. Winslow’s brand new railway station has received a huge cycling boost after Falco manufactured and installed a series of 68 cycle parking spaces with associated cycle canopies this month.The new station is located on the western outskirts of the town, at the junction of Buckingham Road and is being built for Winslow as part of the East West Rail project, which is to re-establish the route between Oxford and Cambridge.As part of the new development, Falco installed a series of 68 spaces of the UK’s best-selling two-tier cycle rack, combined with 15m of the open and spacious FalcoRail cycle canopy, providing cycle-rail users with everything they might need as part of their daily commute.Two key products of the scheme are the tried and tested FalcoLevel-Premium+ two-tier cycle parking system and the EN 1090 FalcoRail cycle canopy, which have been used throughout the railway network to give cyclists using the railway the same experience across the region’s stations. Back in 2010, the picnic tables formed part of the club’s new development for a City Square entertainment zone, a vibrant and state-of-the-art fan experience which was a new concept in British football, located on Joe Mercer Way outside the City store. Falco continues with the roll out of the next tranche of cycle parking facilities across ScotRail's franchised network of over 300 stations across Scotland. This is the latest cycle hub designed, manufactured, supplied and installed by Falco, at Guernsey’s largest law firm, Carey Olsen, located in the small town of St Peter Port, on the east coast of the island.Based on the flagship FalcoLok design, the 8m x 4.5m glass clad cycle hub is coupled with the FalcoLevel-Eco two-tier cycle parking system, providing secure parking for up to forty bikes.In addition to the cycle racks, Falco installed four LED vandal proof lighting systems, complete with proximity sensor, along with a maglock featuring the FalcoSmart Bluetooth access system.The new cycle hub makes use of the FalcoSmart app-based locking system, which uses Bluetooth technology to activate the locking mechanism from the users smart phone or tablet, with the benefit that they no longer need to carry keys or fobs. Employees are able to apply for access to the hub via Carey Olsen and having downloaded the ‘App’ are given access rights to the cycle hub for a period of time depending on their requirement.The system has a fully automated back office enabling the administrator to register new locks for new locations as well as adding new users and creating groups and assigning rights. This is the new sleek and inconspicuous cycle hub recently designed, manufactured, supplied and installed by Falco at Hackney Central Overground Station.Greeting commuters to the west of the station, the 10m cycle hub has been fitted with a combination of both reinforced safety glass and sustainable hardwood cladding.A series of 48 spaces of the FalcoLevel-Premium+ two-tier cycle rack have been installed along with a FalcoFix 2.0 cycle repair station, LED lighting, CCTV security, branding graphics, a green sedum roof and secure mobile app access. Falco also installed five separate TfL London cycle stands located outside of the cycle hub.The green sedum roof, an increasingly popular feature for Falco shelters, supports the operators sustainable development plan by providing the many advantages associated with green roof systems as well as insulation for both heat and noise. A sedum roof both reduces water discharge as well as compensating for CO2 emissions.The FalcoSmart mobile app access system uses Bluetooth technology to provide Hackney commuters with secure access to the cycle hub using their own smartphone or tablet, removing the need for physical keys and fobs. These are the latest secure FalcoPod bike hangars installed this month at the new Harper Collins Publishers editorial office and distribution at Robroyston in Glasgow, which is currently the largest logistics development project in Scotland.Falco manufactured, supplied and installed a series of ten secure FalcoPod Bike Hangars, a 12m FalcoQuarter waiting shelter run and a secure FalcoLok-500 refuse store.Each FalcoPod bike hangar provides secure cycle parking for up to six bikes each, providing a total of 60 secure cycle parking spaces for employee use. This is the new bespoke cycle hub Falco recently designed, manufactured, supplied and installed this spring for Kenley Station in south Croydon. These are the classic FalcoSail cycle shelters recently manufactured, supplied and installed by Falco for Scottish Premiership team - Kilmarnock Football Club.Falco installed two 6m FalcoSail cycle shelter bays complete with the popular Toaster cycle rack to accommodate 16 bikes per bay. With the aim of encouraging cycling uptake to and from school, Kirk Ella St Andrews Community Primary School in Kirk Ella, commisioned a 10m cycle shelter run to provide students with up to 24 secure cycle parking spaces.Falco dismantled and disposed of the previous, tired, cycle shelter facility and installed two five metre FalcoQuarter cycle shelters coupled with twelve surface fix Sheffield Stands. The London Borough of Southwark is the latest local authority to receive a network of the UK’s most user-friendly bike hangar design - the FalcoPod. Falco manufactured, supplied and installed a total of 72 units with manual key access, four units with smart mobile app access and three cycle hubs with smart mobile app access across the borough.Falco is delighted to be working with the Greater London Council to roll-out their next phase of residential bike hangars.
