Easiaccess

Cramlington Town FC, a local amateur and junior football club, needed a new ramp for their recently refurbished clubhouse. Easiaccess was tasked with providing a solution within a strict budget and tight deadline. The ramp, featuring Easitread Rubber surface and balustrade handrails, was installed efficiently and met all required specifications, including a 1:15 gradient and highlighted edges for users with visual impairments. Additionally, recycled handrails were utilised to minimise costs for the client.

Fowler’s Yard is situated on the bank of the River Wear in the historic and retail heart of Durham City centre. The yard consists of creative workspaces, offering the public the opportunity to meet with artists and craftspeople to observe different creative processes.The building that required a step unit is situated within a conservation area. The site is not listed, but is within the Durham City conservation area and in the setting of the World Heritage Site. The existing staircase had to be removed and replaced with one our modular step unit. Although, all elements needed to be black.

An internal modular ramp was required in Holyhead High School to create access to the internal dining hall area for exams and assessments for their students.

Easiaccess were asked to provide ramp access for a temporary merchandise store at Newcastle United Football Club while the permanent store was refurbished. Faced with tight deadlines, we conducted a site survey on May 6 and completed the installation within a week, by May 13. The ramp, featuring safety handrails, highlighted edges, and a smooth threshold, was designed for public use and could be relocated after the 12-week period. Our efficient turnaround and quality installation ensured the store opened on schedule, delighting both the client and the football club.

This development at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary in Wigan provided a permanent emergency Nightingale Ward, standing at 1,156 sqm. It was designed, manufactured, and completed on site ahead of schedule in less than 40 days, during the height of the COVID-19 outbreak.
