Designed to offer a hygienic finish to more traditional impact resistant systems, BioArmis® not only offers a solution to the results of impact and abrasion, it is clinically proven to actively reduce bacteria on its surface.
Available in wide range of bespoke colours, it is the ideal solution to maintenance, hygiene and design issues. Manufactured at 2 mm thick, it has the ability to be welded together to offer a hygienic, seamless finish.
Alternatively, it is available in a range of profiles to suit the project requirements. Heavy footfall and wheeled equipment cause severe damage to walls and doors on a regular basis. The textured finish on the surface of the BioArmis® system is designed to hide bumps and scratches and the increased impact resistance helps to reduce the chances of dents and holes being created.
The spread of bacteria is a major concern in every environment. With BioCote® technology, BioArmis® will protect walls and doors against bacterial growth, as well as bumps, dents and scratches.
The product has attained the required BS 476-6 and BS 476-7 fire certification; it is therefore ideal for use in circulation or exit routes.
On a product treated with BioCote®, the level of microbes which may affect the aesthetics and performance of BioClad® is reduced by up to 99.9% in two hours, with an 80% reduction in the first 15 minutes compared to an unprotected surface where they can proliferate at dramatic rates.
