Zaun’s HiSec Super6 is a reinforced welded mesh security fencing system developed for high-profile and sensitive sites requiring enhanced perimeter protection. The system is based on the traditional 358 mesh configuration but incorporates increased vertical wire thickness to improve resistance to attack.
The mesh comprises 4 mm horizontal wires and 6 mm vertical wires at 76.2 mm centres, maintaining the recognised anti-climb aperture while increasing rigidity and resistance to cutting. The enhanced vertical wire diameter improves delay performance without the need for a double-skin mesh arrangement.
The system is independently certified to LPS 1175 Issue 8 Security Rating A1 (SR1) and is listed in the LPCB Red Book.
Typical applications include custodial environments, critical infrastructure, utilities, data centres and other high-security installations.
System Description
Panels are overlapped and secured using a full-length clamp bar arrangement with non-removable external fixings. The system is designed to provide a flush interface between panel and post, removing gaps or exposed fixing points that could create vulnerabilities. Slotted fixing holes allow for accurate alignment and consistent installation.
The open mesh pattern maintains high levels of visibility to support surveillance and natural monitoring.
