Description
The MB-86 window and door series have been designed to offer high insulation properties.
Offered in four main variations:
- MB-86 ST - Standard option.
- MB-86 SI - Super insulated option.
- MB-86 AERO - Ultimate insulation option.
- MB-86 US - Concealed sash option.
In addition to the thermal variations, the MB-86 system also features an exceptional rate of profile inertia that allows for greater construction in size and weight capability over typical window systems.

- Large selection of profiles available.
- Opening vents are available up to 1700 mm wide and 2800 mm high with a maximum weight of 160 kg.
- Multi-component central gasket.
- Glazing strips with an additional sealing option.
- Glazing thicknesses up to 70.5 mm, enabling all types of double and triple glazing with allowances for acoustic and security, and anti-burglary glazing.
- PAS24 and Secured by Design certified.
- Large, wire-free glass areas.
- Appropriate for a variety of hardware, including concealed hinges.
- Water draining available in both traditional and concealed options.
- Highly energy efficient from 0.5 W/m²K.
- Clean, sharp lines of narrow extruded aluminium framing.
- Various finishes available.

- Air permeability to EN 12207:2001: Class 4.
- Wind load resistance to EN 12210:2001: Class C5.
- Watertightness to EN 12208:2001: Class E1950.
- Acoustic test to EN ISO 717-1: 47 dB Rw (-2;-6).
- Thermal insulation performance to meet the latest Part L requirements: Uw from 0.72 W/m²K.
