Summary
Partial fill polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation for cavity wall applications.

Application
  • Suitable for use within partial fill cavity walls.
  • Eco-Cavity is ideal for use with traditional masonry walls.

Description

Eco-Cavity comprises a polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core faced with a low emissivity aluminium foil composite on both sides. Eco-Cavity is a partial fill cavity wall insulation used within traditional masonry constructions.

It can achieve high levels of thermal performance whilst maintaining a clear residual air gap, providing effective protection against driving rain, particularly in coastal and exposed locations. Eco-Cavity is conveniently sized so that the boards co-ordinate with brick and block dimensions and to allow the insertion of wall ties into the construction at the appropriate spacing.

Features and benefits:

  • Air gap between the insulation and masonry outer leaf acts as a barrier to external moisture penetration.
  • Lightweight insulation – easy to transport.
  • Rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core.
  • Aluminium composite foil facing to both sides.
  • British Board of Agrément (BBA) certification.
