Wide range of base options for the EdgeSeil™ Range.

The Davit Bases are manufactured from hot dip galvanized mild steel, 304-grade stainless steel (with an option for an electro-polished finish), or 316-grade stainless steel. Depending on the site location and specification of the base, service life varies between 10 and 60 years.

Sayfa Group offers a single and two-user system. A single-rated system (15 kN) may be required where the building structure cannot accept the design loads for two users. In addition, due to the significant forces required to achieve two users (21 kN), some Davit base and reach configurations will only meet a single-user rating.

Safety information:

• All safety equipment of this nature needs, by law, regular inspection and maintenance. Maintenance and retest services and reminders can be provided by Sayfa's approved testing partners.
• Fixed-line fall prevention and arrest systems need regular inspection and recertification every 12 months. 
• Abseil points and suspension rails require inspection and re-certification every six months. To achieve BS 8610:2017, the Davit Arm and Davit Base must be tested together.

• Available in a wide range of variants including cast-in (DBC), cast-in with adjustable height rebar tie-in (DBA), parapet-mounted (DBW) and surface-fixed (DBL, DBS).
• Davit bases come with 300–400 mm base width and height variation from 200–600 mm.
