Description
RainScreen Duo Slab is a BBA-approved insulation product, that in addition to thermal comfort, provides an independently-tested acoustic benefit.
Features and benefits:
- BBA approved.
- Non-combustible Euroclass A1.
- Independently tested to reduce airborne noise transfer (up to Rw 62 dB).
- Water-repellent yet breathable, reducing condensation risk.
- Stone wool is dimensionally stable and will provide the same performance for more than 55 years after installation.
- Can be recycled and reprocessed, reducing landfill costs, with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and global warming potential (GWP).

Acoustic performance:
The airborne sound reduction of several typical rainscreen build-ups incorporating RainScreen Duo Slab was tested at the Sound Research Laboratories (SRL), with results of up to Rw 62 dB.
