Care 2 Steward Telephone

The steward telephone is designed for sports venues and stadia.

According to BS5839-9:2011, in a sports venue (or similar site) no-one should have to travel more than 30m to reach the nearest outstation. A steward telephone is referred to as a Type A outstation in BS5839-9:2011.

This style of outstation is typically used by stewards during an emergency. It provides a method of clear communication between stewards in different areas, enabling up-to-date information on a situation to be conveyed.

To comply with BS5839-9:2011, the centre point of an emergency telephone should be mounted between 1300-1400mm from floor level.

Omnicare Steward Telephone

The steward telephone is designed for sports venues and stadia.

The Omnicare steward telephone is an addressable emergency voice communication system that allows disabled refuge, fire telephones, steward telephones and disabled toilet alarms to be connected to one master control panel. Omnicare has been designed and built to meet BS9999:2008, BS5839-9:2011 and BS8300:2009 (for the disabled toilet alarm).

BS5839 part 9 recommends that sports stadia/venues install steward telephones at regular intervals around concourses so no one has to travel more than 30m to reach the nearest outstation.

The SW300 backbox provides an easy to install mounting option in solid or block walls and ceilings for Amina Edge3i and Mobius3 invisible loudspeakers. Made from stainless steel and incorporating resonance damping, rubber alignment trim and cable entry grommets. Please note that installation into solid walls will produce relatively less low frequency when compared to a cavity wall installation, which can be compensated for using equalisation.

Disabled Toilet Alarm Controller 4way

Disabled toilet alarm controller for up to 4 DTAKITs. Features include 'call acknowledge', independent buttons for each toilet alarm connected and LED indicators. It is a monitored system. Up to 10 toilet alarm controller units can be daisy chained using only one mains connection (3A fused switched spur).

Flush mounting unit requires standard electrical double gang back box. Object options include a white or stainless steel finish.

Omnicare Fire Telephone

Fire Telephone outstation for the Omnicare System. The unit is powered by the line which is a 4-core loop circuit from the control panel. Up to 200m distance is permitted between items on the loop (for longer distances the addition of repeater units (BVOCRIF) will be required.

The unit can be fitted to the same loop circuit along with any combination of remote units included in the Omnicare range. The unit has a rugged red handset with hearing aid compatible earpiece. Fully BS5839-9 compliant.

Object options include red or stainless steel finish units with slot lock or push doors which can be selected as either surface mounting or flush mounting items. External beacon option is also available.
