Willesden Green Cultural Centre, London

OVERVIEW

The new Willesden Green Cultural Centre opened in the summer of 2015. At the heart of the building, Planet installed a triangular atrium using p20 single glazed demountable partitioning with deflection head detail to provide natural light throughout the building. Offices and meeting rooms on Level 2 feature p100 double-glazed acoustic partitioning with SonoTec double-glazed doors, for high acoustic performance. For the stairways at either end of the building, Planet installed fire-rated glazed screens. For one stairway, Planet installed EI120 and EI60 fire integrity and insulated screens, and EI60 fire integrity and insulation screens for the other.
