Allan Murray Architects were the master planners and principal architects for the £150 million transformation of the former Caltongate area in the Old Town in Edinburgh. The site links Waverley Station with the historic Royal Mile,

Covering approximately 7 acres this new urban centre mixes open spaces with retailers, restaurants, hotels and new homes and offices in this important area of the Edinburgh. Peakmoor was the stone of choice as it has a long history in the City.

The project presents a major new Aztec rainscreen facade in the Peakmoor sandstone with balconies and a fully glazed iconic feature tower. A truly wonderful building with flexibility; lightweight, A1 non-combustible Aztec Natural Stone Cladding.
