Lisburne Specialist School, Stockport, UK

NORclad provided the timber cladding for Lisburne SEND school in Stockport, a state-of-the-art facility for pupils aged 4–11 with special educational needs and disabilities. The architect Atkinsréalis specified Redwood Brunnea A Grade Euro Class B fire treated PSE 45 x 45mm, 20 x 95mm and 20 x 145mm.

Crucially, this product offers a 30-year warranty against rot and fungal decay (out of ground contact) as well as a degree colour fastness and fire treatment compatibility. Each of these features were essential when specifying for the school as safety, durability, and longevity were the primary project requirements.
