Greenock Health Centre

A Health Centre with community at its heart.

Out-dated and worn, Greenock’s former Health centre did not facilitate provision for modern, healthcare services. This was an opportunity to create a centre where the local community could get access to efficient, quality care close to home.

Strong links to the surrounding area can be felt throughout the Health Centre through art works and displays created by members of the community.

The layout of the building is centred around a courtyard garden with a bright, airy atrium that climbs with the site topography. The open-plan staff areas are located on the third floor with spectacular views across the Clyde with a roof terrace for the staff.
