When long-term client Morrow & Lorraine needs high-performing, design-led and sustainable Entrance Matting, they know and trust INTRAsystems to deliver. So, when it comes to specifying the Entrance Matting for the Fold, they locked the specification in straightaway. The Fold is their transformation of the 1892, grade II listed Warwick Building into BREEAM standard commercial offices for 800 people. Naturally they chose INTRAflex XT. They know the product meets their criteria and have used it in various projects, including The Hub and 7 Newgate Street.

Stylish Design with Sustainable Entrance Matting

Morrow & Lorraine chose our black anodised finish on the INTRAflex XT aluminium structure. Not only does it have a premium architectural aesthetic, it's environmentally friednly. Manufactured in the UK from 100% recycled aluminium, with its own Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) it ticks a lot of the boxes to reach BREEAM sustainable building certification standards.

Creating An Impressive Arrival Experience

The architect's design improves the arrival experience and creates "an impressive new multifunctional area and maximise connectivity to the adjacent green space". This outdoor connectivity demands a robust and effective Entrance Mat. The open construction of INTRAflex XT is heel proof and make sure any dirt and debris is scraped off (with the help of the inserts) and safely sits below in the matwell. The ridged, loop fibres of the Linear help to brush the finer particles and absorb any liquids before they get transferred onto subsequent flooring substrates. And all this comes with a 10-year warranty.

Simple Installation for Long-Term Practicality

There's another benefit INTRAflex XT offers - practicality. From the initial install to the ongoing maintenance, INTRAflex is simplicity itself. Supplied in our infamous interconnecting planks, there are no hidden tension wires or complex joints to struggle with. This makes repairing or replacing small sections which get stained or worn overtime, much more convenient, cost-effective and less wasteful.

Each section can be cut to shape on site too, particularly practical for those revolving doors, motion sensors and pass door control posts.
