Polar 35FR is Komfort’s mullion-free single glazed 30/0 fire rated partitioning system using Pyrostop 14 or Pyrobel 16 glass configurations with a minimal aluminium trackwork.

Additional Notes on Supporting Construction

The supporting construction may be blockwork, brickwork or concrete walls, but shall be a type that provides in excess of 30 minutes fire resistance at the required size and with the required aperture size. Partitions constructed from steel or timber studs with layers of plasterboard may be used as an alternative supporting structure, ensuring that it deflects no more than 10 mm when subjected to fire resistance test conditions.
