Rearo’s name has its roots in the origins of our founder, Jim Mercer. ‘REA’ comes from ‘Reawick’ in Shetland, while ‘RO’ refers to Rosyth, Jim Mercer’s hometown and the location of Rearo’s first mainland branch, where we still have a presence today.

From its humble beginnings, Rearo has expanded its presence with its current headquarters, a 67,000ft manufacturing facility in Glasgow, and branches in Aberdeen, Northampton, Rosyth, Skelmersdale, and Washington.

Rearo offers bespoke and off-the-shelf solutions for commercial applications, including wall-lining systems, a comprehensive range of washroom systems, integrated panel systems, wash troughs, and solid surfaces.
