2.9 N aerated concrete block designed to help reduce the build time onsite, allows the builder to minimize the amount of secondary insulation required to meet the thermal requirements within the Building Regulations (E&W) Approved Document L. The inner leaf of AIRTEC XL blocks give the builder the option of using a 75 mm cavity, either partially or fully filled whilst achieving a U-value: 0.30 W/m²K.

Accessories include AIRTEC Brickettes: Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) coursing units designed to offer brick-sized (65 x 215 mm) products for use as infill around doors and windows. It's benefits include the following: Eliminates the need for cutting down full-size blocks, maintains material continuity throughout the entire wall thus avoiding the effects of cold-bridging and differential movement which can arise from the use of dissimilar materials, maintains uniform thermal performance throughout the entire wall, reduces the need for cavity closers and reduces pattern staining.
AIRTEC Brickettes can be applied on internal and external leaf of cavity walls, loadbearing and non-loadbearing walls, partition walls, thin joint construction and fire resistant walls.
