Installation instructions for the Delta-DRAIN from Delta Membrane Systems give full details on the most effective method of fixing for this product range. Delta-DRAIN overcomes the potential problems that might occur with earth boundary construction elements such as foundation walls. It provides reliable surface drainage for cellar and retaining walls as well as roof gardens, by filtering out fine-grained soil particles, ensuring constant water drainage, and permanently protecting foundation walls. The installation instructions show how the dimpled sheet and the geotextile are installed so that they overlap at the edges, and are held in place using specifically designed Delta-HAFTNAGEL fixings which assist installation but do not replace the mecahnical fasteners applied from the outside.

Fingersafe® is a worldwide trademark brand name for a product range of door finger protection systems. The powerful formulation of the concertina® front module pushes and ejects wandering little fingers and hands creating a safe hinge area around the cavity of the door. Our trademark concertina® is also perceived as an integral part of the fingersafe® product range since the time of our invention over two decades ago. In recent years our technical development team came up with a solution for gate hinges and so the trademark and product Gatesafe® was manufactured and introduced to the safety range of hinge guards. Also we developed Pivotsafe™ door finger protector to stop trapping and crushing on the centre hinge of a pivot door.

FlexLap is a BBA Approved, stand-alone cut-edge corrosion treatment. The Liquasil cut edge corrosion treatment comprises a proven marine-grade corrosion primer and a highly flexible silicone top coat to provide at least 15 years protection against further cut edge corrosion. FlexLap is available in any RAL colour, subject to minimum ordering quantities. The standard colour is Goosewing Grey. Distinctively, the FlexLap cut edge corrosion treatment does NOT require you to seal gaps in over-lapping roof sheets. This approach prevents trapping moisture, which is a cause of under-sheet corrosion. It also results in considerable cost savings. High drainage capacity through specially-configured dimples is offered by Delta Membrane Systems with its Delta-NP Drain – a compact two-ply composite sheet that keeps its shape perfectly, even under high pressure. Suitable for vertical and horizontal applications, this product promotes constant water drainage, and offers rot resistance and cost-effective installation. The dimple part of the sheet gives a high compressive strength of about 150kN/m2, and gives dependable vertical and horizontal drainage in civil engineering applications, retaining walls of all kinds, open tunnels and underground parking lots. Bonded to the dimpled sheet is a geotextile layer which filters out fine soil particles – ensuring a constant flow of water to the drainage.

Effective foundation protection for thick viscoplastic coatings is offered with Delta-Geo-Drain Quattro from Delta Membrane Systems – even if driving rain is able to penetrate through an imperfectly installed upper edge trim. In an absolutely watertight system, such rainwater would exert hydrostatic pressure on the waterproof coating. However, Quattro’s micro-perforated slip film which – together with the additional filter cloth – acts as a backup drainage layer behind the dimpled sheet to ensure that any water is drained off safely. In addition, the slip film prevents the transmission of movement to the waterproof coating. The laminated cloth – which sits between the film itself and the dimpled sheet – soaks up the moisture and then, in effect, acts as a wick to drain the moisture.
