Britmet Lightweight Roofing’s Plaintile system is the world’s only true broken bond Plaintile lightweight roofing system. The only tile to give a true characteristic of a traditional Plaintile, providing an attractive and economic finish for all roof styles, even for vertical cladding. Britmet’s Plaintile system can be fixed down to a 15° roof pitch and is highly effective at reducing installation time as it’s 7 traditional tiles wide and on tile high. This means that only 5 Plaintile panels are required per sqm. This is a huge difference in comparison to traditional plain tiles which required 60 tiles per sqm.

The 17x27 Plain Tile is a traditional clay plain roof tile produced at Phalempin in the north of France. The mellow, textured surface combines the beautiful appearance of mature handmade tiles with affordable prices. Stunning results can be achieved by mixing different colours of Phalempin. Available in distinctive pre-mixed blends, or custom colours.

Metrotile is a roofing system based on lightweight steel tiles. Each profile is pressed from Drawing Quality 3 Steel, the highest grade available in the roofing industry. This has a particularly low carbon level, allowing it to flow freely during manufacture to create a highly durable roof tile with virtually no risk of fracture. The tiles are galvanised using Aluzinc®, a compound with 55% aluminium and 45% zinc offering unrivalled corrosion resistance. The weather side of each tile is given a base coat primer, to which the coloured stone granules are bonded, and once theyre set its finished with an over-glaze to protect the tile and improve insulation.

For applications where a suspended ceiling with a concealed grid is required, but individual tiles must be easily demountable. Ecophon Focus Ds has a concealed grid and symmetrical edge design, allowing easier assembly, integration of light fittings and ventilation. The ceiling has an even appearance, with the bevelled edges forming a discreet groove between the tiles. The tiles are easily demountable.
