Bolton Gate’s Thermafold 1000 insulated folding door combines energy saving qualities with a high aesthetic appearance. It is designed for use in openings up to 6000mm wide and 6000mm high and is particularly suitable for applications where a bottom track needs to be avoided such as railway depots. Its ease of operation allows the door to be manually operated, unlike upward moving doors such as sectional overhead and rolling shutters, particularly on larger openings. The operation is simple and avoids the need for cables, springs etc., thus avoiding high maintenance after installation, and the fact that the door is sideways opening means that the leading edge is in constant vision and less prone to damage from vehicles passing through the opening.

The Terra Bi-folding Gate is the first and only HVM product to be listed in the Red Book Live to both IWA14-1 and LPS1175.
The HVM Terra Bi-folding Gate has been successfully designed to resist manual forced entry in accordance with LPS 1175: Issue 8 Security Rating 2 (B3). Furthermore, in a world first, the Double Leaf Terra Bi-folding Gate also met the requirements of IWA14-1, stopping a 7.2t vehicle travelling at 30mph, resulting in minimal penetration.

The PreSec is located prior to the security before the traveller enters the security screening area, this being a major security junction between airside and landside.
