Riga Tex is a high wear product composed of birch plywood (Riga Ply) overlaid with a phenol film or with an UV resistant film on both the sides. The wear side has a rough wire mesh pattern (W). The reverse is normally smooth (F), although it can have a wire mesh pattern too (gradeW/W). Riga Tex rough wire mesh overlay withstands hard wear and so can be used for various floor-panelling purposes. Applications include vehicle floors, pedestrian bridges, storage and factory floors, storage shelves, loading platforms and ship decks. The wire mesh surface also has anti-slip properties with the surface being weather- and water-proof and also resistant to commonly used chemicals.

Birch plywood (Riga Ply) overlaid on one or both faces with a special material or such a material is used as a core to improve mechanical properties or visual appearance of plywood. Further mechanical processing, board and edge sanding and lacquering is available, also manufacturing of furniture elements.
RIGA COMPOSITE TPO is overlaid with grey (RAL 7000), thermoplastic, textured polyolefin overlay (density 167 g/m2). Different embossing and colours available upon request.
RIGA COMPOSITE PPL is overlaid with a slightly textured polypropylene overlay. For indoor use 0.15 mm and for outdoor use 0.65 mm is recommended. Overlays available in grey (RAL 7045), white (RAL 9016) or black (RAL 9005).

evguard® laminating finterlayer - High temperature behavior - up to a temperature of 240°C

LG Samples were tested at IFT Rosenheim according to the standard DIN EN ISO 12543-4 for behavior at high temperature. The samples have been exposed to a temperature of 100°C for 2 hours.
None of the specimen showed any kind of failure, bubbles or delamination.
To investigate the behavior of glass laminates at temperatures beyond the international standard test DIN EN ISO 12543-4, further tests were carried out.
Because evguard® laminating film is a crosslinking material, it behaves differently compared to other laminating films. LG samples were exposed stepwise up to a temperature of 240°C. The test up to at least 200°C was passed without any delamination effects or visual changes. Also at a temperature of 240°C, no delamination was detected, only a slight yellowing was observed.

CRL Tests of freestanding barrier glass with evguard® laminating interlayer film

Hamilton Erskine required a number of different glass constructions to be tested as barrier glass. Encapsulated within the Evguard EVA in some of the glass constructions was a modified polyester (MPE) sheet in various thicknesses. The tests were conducted at the premises of CR Laurence using their balustrade load testing rig and observed by John Colvin of JCGC Limited.
Evguard EVA is stiffer than standard PVB, but not as stiff as DG41 PVB.
In a sufficiently rigid top mounted clamping system, 16.8 mm and 17.5 mm laminated toughened glass using Evguard would be appropriate to resist a 0.74 kN/m barrier load. In a sufficiently rigid top mounted clamping system, 21.5 mm laminated toughened glass using Evguard would be appropriate to resist a 1.5 kN/m barrier load.
