Coopers installed FireMaster fire curtains with smoke control over the lift door openings on each of the ground and upper seven floors and two on the basement so a total of forty eight curtains.
An important part of the design of the building on the ground and first floor was to subtly integrate the fire curtain headbox and side guides into the lift opening.

When the owners of an office block in central London came to us and explained they were converting the office block into apartments, we knew we were the right people for the job. With limited space available we proposed their Trojan Lifting Station, which can be used in applications where removal of sewage is not possible under gravity.

For most of their long history, Bathams had to move the huge casks manually, rolling them across the floor and lowering 54 gallons of beer one cask at a time with ropes and chains.
This method took a lot of time and posed serious health and safety risks for staff.
Recognising the need for an improved system, Bathams approached Penny Hydraulics searching for a way of moving casks in their brewery and some of their pub locations. They wanted a solution that was unique to their operations, but was also easy to use, ultimately protecting staff and reducing delivery time.

Henderson’s sliding door hardware systems were specified by Penton Architects for the central dining space and garage of the architects’ own rural new build.
Adam Penton commented: “The large sliding doors to the central dining space utilise P C Henderson’s Lift and Slide Base System which was specified for its performance and ability to be housed into a bespoke glazed timber screen and cill system.”
The dining room doors open up the side of the house and are used daily during the summer months for ventilation and access to external terracing to create an indoor / outdoor experience.

League regulations demand the installation of a rigid mesh fence with a spectator handrail around the perimeter of the pitch to a height of 1.1 metres. Zaun completed the complex supply and installation as changing ground levels required adaptation to ensure maintaining the 1.1m height around the whole pitch.
Zaun contracts manager Steve Hancock visited the Haven Sportsfield Ground to take all of the site details for manufacture and supervised the installation, which was completed a week ahead of schedule.

Liverpool's Georgian Quarter in Canning was conceived by city planner John Foster Snr in 1800, to create elegant terraced town houses for the city’s elite. The mid-20th century sadly brought some demolition; but many of the remaining properties are now listed, and all are in a conservation area.
In 2012 Riverside Housing Group commissioned TRC to undertake refurbishment work to over 70 properties in Pelham Grove, Bedford Street, Belvidere Street and Princess Road.
Work included window refurbishment, and some replacements; but also extended to painting, brick and stone repairs, lead work and roofing.

The project required 148 mailboxes to securely store the mail deliveries for the residents living within this high-end development. The mailboxes are located on the ground floor in the entrance walkways with access to the mailboxes and building behind a secured external property door.
The mailboxes are configured into multiple products in a bank, maximising the quantity of mail that can be securely stored in a minimum amount of space. The large banks of mailboxes are recessed into the walls of the walkways, fixed through the side, top and bottom faces of the product.

Onyx Apartments is an 11-storey building located on the Regent’s Canal banks, offering 117 bespoke homes. The development was designed as a modern, elegant and professional living environment. CS 86 ‘High Insulated’ aluminium window system offers an energy-efficient option, and CP 155 ‘Lift and Slide’ aluminium door system creates maximum glazed areas while also maintaining comfort. As Newton Specialist Contractors, Stonehouse were called in to waterproof four of these impressive structures and turn them into a completely dry commercial space. The four vaults were situated just North of the River Thames in Central London, a short walk from such famous landmarks as Smithfield Market and St Paul's Cathedral.

As the overall height exceeds 10m the ladder was required to be broken with a mid-height rest platform ensuring no single ladder length exceed 6m. Hoops were provided throughout for fall protection, an anti-climb plate was fitted at the base and the ladder was manufactured in accordance with CE 1090 factory production control procedures.

The customer wanted to build a deck on the first storey of a period building in Chicago
The windows opening out on to the roof were positioned considerably higher than the rooftop itself, which meant that the structure deployed to support the deck would also need to raise it up almost a metre to meet the threshold.
We recommended a number of our heavy-duty Megapads ranging from 711mm to 876mm to account for the gradual fall in the roof.
The customer chose not to envelope the pedestals because he liked the industrial look created, in keeping with downtown Chicago.
Conversion of a Grade II listed building into apartments

The project involved the conversion of the 1st floor of the Grade II listed Princes Building in Newcastle’s Quay side area into 10 apartments.
The building, which was designed by William Parnel, who was responsible for some of the best architecture in the City, was built back in 1863 and as such posed some interesting problems when it came to bringing the building up to current standards.
The introduction of the Lewis Dovetailed Metal Deck and screed system on top of the existing joists provided the necessary performance for airborne and impact sound and fire separation.

After the flood at the Grade II listed property in Long Marston, restoration experts DJ Hutchings of Towcester was called in, and – in turn – they called upon the services of Peter Cox .
Work includes the full strip-out of all wall finishes and the solid floor on the ground floor. Mass underpinning took place to all the external walls. Included in the materials supplied by Delta is the MS500 system applied to all ground floor walls and MS20 on the floors.

Tecno has developed a custom version of the W80 wall for The New Guardian Life Headquarters in New York. The partition divides 14,000 sq.m. of office space, offering outstanding acoustic insulation. Conference and meetings rooms, management and staff offices, waiting and leisure areas, corridors and washrooms - all are configured with 2.7-metre-high glass partitions in a brushed black anodised finish with glass panels engraved in a diagonal pattern. Some of the modules have electric locks while others are manoeuvrable - the spaces can be transformed in size and layout with automatically actuated thresholds.

3D MONOLITHS?
To give the illusion of massive stone pieces, we constructed large ‘box like’ pieces using our lightweight stone. Even with large monolith sizes, weight will not exceed 100kg. Whilst this may seem heavy, it will be notably lighter than using traditional methods!

The non-profit organization Living Architecture has realised four special holiday homes across England, each one is an extraordinary example of contemporary architecture, designed by leading architects. The most spectacular of the projects is the ‘Balancing Barn’ in Suffolk (Uk), designed by the Dutch bureau MVRDV. In the 30-metre long house, which juts out 15 metres over the edge of a rise, Reynaers CP 155-LS (Lift & Slide) was used for the large sliding windows. The large protruding section meant that it was possible to place another large window in the floor as a complement to the architectonic spectacle.
