This additional safety surface, over time, will encourage the grass to grow through and be mowed. Thus allowing it blend with the natural surroundings.This specific outdoor fitness package is to be used by children under 140cm. This makes it perfect for the KS1 & KS2 pupils, and they can use it for small classes for PE pupils or even as an after school fitness initiative.

Farr & Harris Ltd, trusted retailer for bathroom suites, were involved in the project.The hotel required modern, quality bathroom products for their hotel, spa and gym to reflect the contemporary décor but water saving was also imperative.Farr & Harris approached us after successfully installing mains operated taps at the hotel previously. This time around, they were interested in our touch-free taps. Our specifications team met with the client to discuss our full range and their features and benefits. We presented our Electroflo infra-red linear range for consideration. The client liked the hygienic aspect and the sleek minimalist style. This state-of-the-art office building located in the heart of the City of London is the new European headquarters for an international financial organisation.The 10-storey office building was the largest commercial fitout in 2019, housing up to 6000 members of staff with more than one million square feet of space. This modern building is truly unique and offers employees a range of facilities not usually seen in most office developments. Located within the building is an auditorium and conference centre, a health centre, a nursery and playcentre, a fully equipped gym, therapy rooms for sports massage and acupuncture, contemplation and resting rooms. As part of the project build multiple entrances needed to be secured, including the main reception, a gym and childcare centre, a cycle parking entrance and a contractors entrance. The client specified early in the project that all entrance solutions needed to be integrated with a contactless biometric readers, to ensure a high level of authentication. Whilst preventing unauthorised access to the building was crucial, the solution needed to complement the architectural intent and provide the smooth flow of authorised users passing through the prestigious building.

The dwelling floor area was approx 700m² broken up into twelve rooms including a wet room, gym, media room and library.

Equinox is a large USA gymnasium operator and their first venture in London is in High Street Kensington. The site they chose is on the 5th floor, directly above Sony Music where Simon Cowell works, and directly beneath Kensington Roof Gardens, which is a popular and very trendy night spot.Ramboll Acoustics specified that a floating floor was required to reduce impact noise levels from the gym to <55dB L’nT,w. However it soon became clear that the floating floor would have to ensure that no significant disturbance was caused to Sony Music directly beneath.Our local branch worked closely with the contractor and consultants to fine-tune the floating floor system and built several mock-ups to verify the performance.The final design consisted of a Stravifloor Channel isolation rail supporting a composite dry floor construction. The floor under Group Fitness, where all of the gym classes are held, also had layers of steel plate to optimise the low frequency performance.The on-site performance at the end of the job was measured as 35dB L’nT,w although this was dominated by background noise as the performance of the floating floor was so good. The improvement from the base concrete floor was 42dB.

The finished effect was a brand-new swimming pool with roofing and cladding fixings that would stay in place despite the risk of corrosion.

Resin bound Addabound porous surfacing for sports complex swimming pool surround.Addagrip approved contractor Total Protection (GB) Ltd has installed 294m2 of Addabound Resin Bound surfacing around the swimming pool at the David Lloyd Gym in East Acton, London.The client was looking for a decorative Resin Bound paving for the outdoor swimming pool at the gym which has just undergone a £9m refurbishment to provide an indoor and outdoor pool, modern spa and racquet courts. The requirement was for a low maintenance system that would be smooth and comfortable underfoot, providing a decorative aggregate finish that could be power washed as part of the cleaning regime of the pool area.Interserve Construction appointed Total Protection (GB) Ltd to prepare the surface and install 294m2 of BBA approved Addabound Resin Bound surfacing in a recycled marble Dune blend.The challenge was the preparation required to the existing surfaces surrounding and adjacent to the outdoor pool to ensure a suitable substrate for the Resin Bound system. Undulations and differing depths were regulated with compatible screed material and an aluminium edge detail was installed to provide an edge for the 12mm depth of Addabound.The new surface was installed in a single application in May 2018 to prevent any day joints and ensure the smooth, seamless finish was achieved in time for the grand opening.

Ten Traffic Street is a 522-bed student accommodation serving luxury living located on a prominent site within Nottingham City Centre. The project was delivered by Jensco and offers excellent amenities such as a cinema, games room, study spaces, onsite coffee shop, indoor and outdoor Gyms and multiple outdoor communal spaces including a roof terrace. Artform Urban worked closely with the Landscape architects, Ares Landscape to provide a substantial package of premium external furniture to ensure the high-end finish extends to the outdoor spaces. The complex is spread across 2 buildings with courtyards and one roof terrace overlooking the city. In total, there are 4 external spaces - each has its own identifiable aesthetic which is driven by the building fascias and window frame colouring which is then reflected in the outdoor furniture.The roof terrace is surrounded by a large Inspira Modular Planting System installation powder-coated in a unique Khaki Grey - bringing colour and natural benefits to the space. The planters house plants and small trees that provide dappled shade to ensure residents can enjoy the terrace on hotter days. Tables, benches, and a Box Litter Bin all in a coordinated colour palette, provide social seating and dining spaces and vibrant plastic Chill Lounger’s and Hop Op 500’s offer a more casual seating option for residents.The ground floor courtyards feature a continuation of benches and Box litter bins - with all steelwork powder coated in a specific colour for each space. An external gym has been provided in the larger courtyard and features two Endurance Wellness Stone installations. These unique sculptural pebbles include stainless steel fixtures to accommodate a variety of exercises. This is the first installation in the UK of these products that are part of a wider range of premium external gym equipment named MyEquilibria. This unique fitness range aims to redefine the workout experience by combining art, high-end design and community. As final additions to the spaces Artform Urban provided an extensive bike parking package as well as Fuente Drinking Fountain’s to encourage students to cycle and reduce plastic waste.

An attractive hard landscaping solution was needed to enhance the pedestrian areas at the new £23 million Sports Village and Tobermore helped the council achieve this with the provision of Mayfair Flags – a paving slab with a granite aggregate surface layer that produces a striking, contemporary look.

Works include a new state-of-the-art gym and spa together with a modernised pool and changing areas. Designed by JDDK Architects with main contractors Brims Construction, Helmsman Lockers and Cubicles designed, supplied and installed a range of lockers and seating in both the spa and dry areas of the centre. Both sets of leisure lockers were 2-compartment using a Teak and Spring White laminate finish and complemented with matching bench seating.

The park is located in the area of the former bus depot and part of a disused airport where used to be 3 hectares of asphalt and concrete.The playground includes climbing frames, carousels, swings, and a vertical playground Wall-Holla with challenging obstacles that will keep kids entertained for hours. There is also an outdoor gym with Lappset's metal gym equipment.The end result is a very popular recreational family place in the city of Kraków with a nice story still referring to its previous function: planes and buses are part of the pattern on the EPDM surface at the playground.The project was part of THE GREEN CITIES EUROPE AWARD – 2022 and it has been praised for its quality recreational spaces and innovative value.

Location: Manchester, UKThe gym and swimming pool areas of Property Alliance Group’s Oxygen development required works to start before the tower cranes had been removed and ahead of the building being made watertight – ideal conditions for a mould-resistant, quick-to-install product like Specwall which can be installed in all weather conditions.Using a blockwork alternative would have required a large amount of scaffolding on the 6.2m high walls and doubled the installation period. Using Specwall eliminated this issue and provided significant programme savings for the client.
