Liquasil's BBA Approved Metalseal 20 roof coating and Gutterseal system were specified for use on the Airspace Trampoline Park in Wolverhampton. The whole roof was pressure washed and a historical cut-edge corrosion treatment was removed before application; the cut-edges were treated with our SWT Corrosion Primer, with additional reinforcement to the mid-laps through the installation of Liquasil's optional HP Butyl Tape.The whole roof was then coated with Metalseal 20 in Goosewing Grey at a filmweight of c. 300 microns to provide a protective, aesthetically pleasing finish.The gutters were cleaned out and dried before being primed with our SWT Corrosion Primer. Once touch-dry, the joints could then be sealed using our Non-Sag Sealer and a single coat of Liquasil One was applied to the entire gutter. Liquasil One can be immediately applied over the top of Non-Sag Sealer, meaning no time is wasted waiting for it to cure before the works can continue.The end result was a revitalised metal roof with a protective, water-resistant coating that is guaranteed for 20 years.

The original factory finish to the metal roof of this property was failing, with the coating delaminating badly due to UV damage. The gutterless eaves construction meant that both the roofs and cladding had to be coated. Metalseal was specified because it is available in any RAL colour., In this case, Juniper Green was required. The original finish was removed with 4000psi pressure washers , before corrosion was treated with Liquasil's corrosion primer before Metalseal 20 was applied.

Failing factory finishes and cut edge corrosion were present across the entire roof and Liquasil's Metalseal metal roof coating system was specified as the most appropriate solution. The roof was cleaned and all failing finishes and rust was removed as far as reasonably practicable. The roof was then coated. In this case, two colours were employed. Liquasil is the only company able to produce silicone coatings in any RAL colour.

The metal roof was first prepared using high powered jet washing equipment, to remove loose and flaking materials. Liquasil corrosion primer was applied to the corroded cut edges and the entire roof was sprayed with a single coat of Metalseal 20. The metal box gutter was heavily corroded. The loose and flaking material was removed and Liquasil’s Corrosion Primer was applied all along the gutter. The joints in the gutter were sealed with Liquasil’s unique Non-Sag Sealer and then the entire gutter was coated with Liquasil One to provide a seamless gutter finish.

Extensive upgrades to the distributed heating system at two low-rise housing blocks by Camden London Borough Council, have chosen Pendock bespoke metal pipe boxing to conceal and protect exterior pipework.The 3 storey Ludham block and 6 storey Waxham building provide more than 200 dwellings, which are occupied by both tenants and leaseholders. Following the installation of the heating system pipework to the exterior of the buildings, the Pendock aluminium and PPC coated boxing was installed to provide a uniform and more aesthetic finish to the project while also providing weather protection.

Metalseal 20 was specified as part of an industrial unit refurbishment project. This is a single coat application, in this case, using brush and roller to avoid the risk of over-spray which can occur when using airless spray equipment.

This project involved the removal of the existing factory finish to an industrial unit in the West Midlands, followed by cut edge corrosion treatment and full roof & parapet coating. Once the original finish had been removed using high pressure jet washing, all of the end laps to the roof sheets were coated with SWT (Surface & Wet Tolerant) corrosion primer, to prevent further rusting. This is a metal roof coating & liquid gutter lining project carried out at Oxford Brookes University. The roof was power washed and the gutters cleaned before application. The gutters were treated with Liquasil's rust primer to prevent further rusting, before the seamless, silicone Gutterseal system was applied. Metalseal 20 was specified to re-brand a small industrial estate in Swindon. Roofs and external cladding were all stripped of existing finishes using vapour blasting. A roof at teh Jaguar Land Rover premises in Watford was in poor condition and suffering from cut edge corrosion. This was a relatively small installation of under 100 sq metres of asbestos roof coating and metal gutter lining. The asbestos cement roof was first cleaned using a closed box pressure washer, with all waste water being filtered to 2 microns. Wood finish powder coating to realise vision of a timber facade Overview A brand-new Skills and Innovation Centre has been added to the Earl Street/Broad Street elevation of the South Staffordshire College’s campus, a £28million project. This 7,500 sq metre, 3 storey building will house leading-edge construction, engineering and hybrid vehicle technology workshops, along with innovatively designed social spaces. The building takes pride of place on the college’s town centre site and a suitably striking external envelope has been planned. The architects’ envisaged a facade of long vertical fins giving the appearance of timber. This would also screen a roof-top substation from view. The Project Maple Sunscreening won the contract to supply the extensive vertical fin façade and proposed using lightweight aluminium instead of timber to achieve the of span required. Features include Ryleigh’s rooftop restaurant, and a boutique barber shop set in a traditional pub, The Bottle Boy.Project criteriaA critical aspect of the design was to restore and knit the two buildings together in a way that preserved their industrial character. The hotel is a landmark feature in the Dockland area, sitting on North Wall Quay overlooking the River Liffey, a testing marine environment for architectural metalwork, making their protection paramount. A Corten-like finish had been suggested for the exterior metal fins, to look like rusted steel, but the designers wanted to avoid run-off from storm water drainage staining surrounding structures.The SolutionPowdertech Evolution™ finishes emulate metal patination but with no run-off and staining. St Martin’s Courtyard, originally developed in 2011, has recently been refurbished. This is a mixed-use restaurant and retail destination and the architects, Brimelow McSweeney, wanted a particularly eye-catching new coating for facades and panelling enclosing the courtyard space and its entrances. The objective was a finish that would appear to change in colour and tone as the sun moves across the sky, finally being illuminated from within the panels as dusk falls. The SolutionWorking with the architects, we developed a bespoke textured red/gold powder coating within our Evolution range, a collection that reflects the beauty of natural metals and metal patination. After first cleaning the roof and attending to rusted areas with Liquasil’s corrosion primer, it was the coated with Metalseal 20 from Liquasil, using airless spray equipment. The specification for this roof was for a special RAL colour. Only Liquasil can make silicone coatings in any RAL colour, so Metalseal 20 was specified for the project. The end laps and mid laps to this ageing metal roof were affected by cut edge corrosion. Liquasil's Flexlap system was specified to treat the corrosion, in all, approximately 2000 linear metres. Where sheets overlapped, the bottom sheet was masked off as this does not usually require treatment under the Liquasil system, which was designed by Chartered Building Surveyors.

This is a metal roof coating & refurbishment project using Liquasil's BBA Approved Metalseal 20. The project involved removing an existing cut edge corrosion treatment and re-treating with Liquasil SWT Corrosion Primer, followed by two coats of Metalseal. The whole roof was then coated with Metalseal 20 to provide long term protection against fungal growth and weathering.
