The panels were selected to provide a strong and natural concrete external façade to this brand-new JD sports store on the main shopping strip in Belfast. The facade material needed to create a strong contemporary aesthetic adding stature to this new building sandwiched between two traditional buildings on either side, one with mainly brick features and the other all in stone.

The roof of this bingo hall in Hamilton, Scotland was affected by cut edge corrosion. Liquasil's Flexlap cut edge corrosion treatment was specified to solve the problem. All surfaces were first prepared using wire brushes to remove any delaminating finishes, before being prepared with the Liquasil Corrosion primer. Once the primer had cured, the Flexlap hardened silicone top coat was applied to provide a moss and lichen resistant finish, offering 10+ years protection, all backed by Liquasil’s unique, Latent Defects Insurance Warranty.

This is Liquasil's BBA Approved cut edge corrosion treatment, Flexlap, being installed to a large industrial warehouse in Hemel Hempstead during September and October 2018 as part of a refurbishment project. Flexlap was specified because it is less labour intensive and requires fewer materials than other systems. The unique Liquasiul Latent Defects Guarantee was issued upon completion. This covers materials, workmanship, safe access and Professional Design allowing you to specify with 100% confidence.

This 10,000 sq metre roof was in need of complete refurbishment and Liquasil's Metalseal was specified because it provided all parties with complete protection, with a Latent Defects Insurance Guarantee being provided upon completion. Cut edge corrosion was treated and the roof cleaned prior to the application of the single-coat Metalseal 20. The unique Liquasil Latent Defects Guarantee covers safe access, workmanship, materials and specifier's professional management fees, along with Professional Design. BBA Approval adds even more reassurance to the specifier.

Specified because of it's unique BBA Approval and Latent Defects Insurance Guarantee, Asbestoseal was applied to this asbestos cement roof in Warwickshire. The roof was first steam cleaned using 150°c steam, removing all moss and lichen. Metal fixings were treated with Liquasil's corrosion primer and then sealed using Non-Sag Sealer. The entire roof surface was then coated with Asbestoseal 20 to provide long term protection and add considerably to the life of the roof. The metal gutters were lined with Liquasil's seamless silicone gutter lining system

The metal roof was first prepared using high powered jet washing equipment, to remove loose and flaking materials. Liquasil corrosion primer was applied to the corroded cut edges and the entire roof was sprayed with a single coat of Metalseal 20. The metal box gutter was heavily corroded. The loose and flaking material was removed and Liquasil’s Corrosion Primer was applied all along the gutter. The joints in the gutter were sealed with Liquasil’s unique Non-Sag Sealer and then the entire gutter was coated with Liquasil One to provide a seamless gutter finish.

Valley gutters with limited access on fragile asbestos cement roofs are always difficult to maintain and repair. A liquid gutter liner is often the only solution in cases like this and none are easier than Liquasil’s Gutterseal system. The metal gutter was first cleaned and dried, then treated with a coat of Liquasil’s corrosion treatment before being over-coated with Liquasil one liquid gutter liner. All joints were treated with Liquasil Non Sag Sealer, providing a fleece-free, very strong joint and seamless gutter lining.

A DOFF steam cleaner was used to thoroughly clean the moss and lichen from this asbestos roof in Bridgwater. The metal fixings were treated with Liquasil's rust tolerant primer and then sealed, along with cracked sheets, using Non-Sag Sealer, before the whole roof was coated using Asbestoseal 20. The end result was a leak-free asbestos roof that will last for many more years. Asbestoseal is the only BBA Approved coating system for asbestos roofs.

The Amersham Vale development was a new build of 120 homes spread across a collection of apartments, maisonettes and houses set beside Charlottenburg Park. The accommodation ranges from 1 bedroom apartments through to 4 bedroom homes with a private landscaped garden area.To create a compliant and cost effective rainscreen facade system, Valcan’s non-combustible aluminium panel, VitraDual, was selected installed back to the Vitrafix VF1 carrier system using colour matched fixings.

Blackhorse Road Railway Station is situated on the corner of Forest Road and Blackhorse Road in Walthamstow serving the area with Victoria Line and Overground services throughout Greater London. The station features four platforms and at peak times, Blackhorse Road sees trains departing every 2 minutes on the Victoria line and 8 trains an hour for the Overground.The main entrance was to be refreshed and recladding this with VitraNamel was the chosen façade panel because of its superior anti-graffiti properties and hard wearing nature of the vitreous enamel coating.

The Outdoor Deck Company were specified to supply and install 560m² of FSC Massaranduba timber decking to create a series of pathways that branch out to each entrance. Massaranduba is one of the hardest and most durable timber species in the world making it the perfect timber surface for this busy external space. Rathbone Market has been shortlisted for several awards and is winner of The Sunday Times British Homes Awards – Development of the Year (Schemes of more than 200 homes) 2017.

Home House is an award winning private members club, located in Portman Square, London. The Outdoor Deck Company were commissioned to install over 220sqm of new Ecodek composite decking on Buzon support pedestals to create a large decked terrace area within the club’s private garden. Home House were looking for a durable, minimal-maintenance, anti-slip deck with superior safety qualities without compromising on aesthetics for this glamorous outdoor space. Founded in 2002, the Gardens of Peace Muslim cemetery is located in a green belt area in Chigwell, London. Beautifully landscaped and purpose-built, the cemetery is a calm, comforting space for the local Muslim community. Earlier this year the Outdoor Deck Company were commissioned to supply and install high quality composite deck boards to create a large deck area surrounding the new cemetery building. The Space Park at the University of Leicester by Shepheard Epstein Hunter Architects provides a start of the art facility for R&D. AZENGAR (engraved zinc) flat lock shingles have been used extensively on the facade and combine with ANTHRA-ZINC standing seam facade panels.

With its ten cinemas and six restaurants, the East Square leisure complex in Basildon in Essex is part of an ambitious master plan to restore the town centre’s appeal by creating daytime and evening entertainment and dining opportunities. Partly inspired by the city’s artistic past, when Basildon was known for its 1960s ceramic murals, the building also evokes the modern edge of digital images. The set of multicoloured hexagonal cassettes designed by Pollard Thomas Edwards’ architects in London evokes the shape of coloured pixels in the digital images projected on the cinema’s screens. This combination of four surface coverings - AZENGAR®, ANTHRA-ZINC®, QUARTZ-ZINC®, GOLD lacquered zinc - and two types of installation - MOZAIK® cassettes and hexagonal shingles - on some 4,000 m2 of facades creates a playful and dynamic effect. A future image is coming into view. The irregularity of the facade’s upper edge is a good illustration of the city’s urban renewal project; it seems to show that the city’s future is still being constructed and rewritten in this very place.

Poundbury is a new experimental town in the county of Dorset in England, initiated by Prince Charles approximately thirty years ago. A mixture of Victorian architecture and Baroque villas, the town is a concentrate of architectural styles and colours. The most recent addition is Queen Mother square, which serves as the town centre. This Palladian-inspired square houses the town’s first hotel - the Duchess of Cornwall Inn. Moneypenny engaged the help of AEW architects to design a new and exciting office environment. With space to house 1,000 staff, Moneypenny wanted to have a new headquarters, which were both efficient office spaces, as well as a great environment for its staff to operate in. In turn, Pochin asked RCM to supply its 12mm Cemboard to the construction, because of the building board’s excellent acoustic properties, which were a major consideration for the construction of the call-centre.

The International Quarter is a unique mixed-use scheme providing an inspiring new business environment, designed to create spirit, space, community and culture. The project comprises 4,000,000 sq ft Grade ‘A’ office accommodation, 275,000 sq ft hotel space, 350 new residential units and associated community facilities.

A regeneration development in Vauxhall by the Ballymore Group has seen the biggest transformation story London has ever seen. It has added an entirely new urban quarter to London. The South Bank regeneration stretches from the Shard in the east to Battersea Power station in the west. The area known as Embassy Gardens is at the heart of Nine Elms and includes up to 1.750 new homes and over 20,000sqm of office and flexible workspace spread over 8 building plots covering an impressive 241,548 sqm. RCM’s Y-Wall was used in its construction.

The campus in Colchester, which is home to 15,000 students, is undergoing a massive phased transformation. Benx-RCM are currently supplying into phase three of the campus-build, known as The Pastures.Split across five new buildings, The Pastures will bring an additional 1,262 student bedrooms to the Colchester campus. One of these blocks will create a new hub which will include a reception, a post room, an administrative area and a student services centre, along with a laundrette and staff welfare facilities.Overseeing this £168 million project as main contactor is Bouygues Construction.Stanta were awarded the SFS infill package at the site. As part of this package, Benx RCM were selected to supply Y-Wall external sheathing board for the entire project.Y-Wall is a flexible calcium silicate based fibre cement building board, offering excellent fire properties as well as high levels of dimensional stability. The Y-Wall BBA Certification provided the Stanta project team with assurance that this building board solution has been tested to exacting standards, evaluated onsite, as well as undergoing a life expectancy assessment and a quality management system review.Y-Wall was utilised to create a sheathing for the five high rise structures. In buildings with storeys more than 18m above ground level, any products used in the external wall construction should be of limited combustibility. Being a non-combustible, A1 fire-rated building board, utilising BS EN ISO 1182 and BS EN ISO 1716 tests, Y-Wall is the optimum solution for a project of this type and size.In specifying the building board for this project it was important to ensure the optimum racking performance to enhance structural strength. Y-Wall conforms to European Norm - BS EN 594:2011 - the certification which proves the system has been rigorously tested and offers excellent racking performance, structural strength and stability.Specifying a building board that is fully tested to BS EN 1062-1 allows for adequate moisture resistance and durability. Y-Wall fully complies with this standard which ensures the building boards will have a life equal to that of the building. Selecting a building board with good external performance and durability is important, particularly through the build phase, as the product may be left exposed for several months prior to a secondary facade being installed over the top of the system. In order to generate speed and ease of construction, Y-Wall was supplied pre-cut to specified panel sizes. The fabrication work was undertaken by Benx Façades at its dedicated facility, to ensure a seamless process.

Liquasil's BBA Approved Metalseal 20 roof coating and Gutterseal system were specified for use on the Airspace Trampoline Park in Wolverhampton. The whole roof was pressure washed and a historical cut-edge corrosion treatment was removed before application; the cut-edges were treated with our SWT Corrosion Primer, with additional reinforcement to the mid-laps through the installation of Liquasil's optional HP Butyl Tape.The whole roof was then coated with Metalseal 20 in Goosewing Grey at a filmweight of c. 300 microns to provide a protective, aesthetically pleasing finish.The gutters were cleaned out and dried before being primed with our SWT Corrosion Primer. Once touch-dry, the joints could then be sealed using our Non-Sag Sealer and a single coat of Liquasil One was applied to the entire gutter. Liquasil One can be immediately applied over the top of Non-Sag Sealer, meaning no time is wasted waiting for it to cure before the works can continue.The end result was a revitalised metal roof with a protective, water-resistant coating that is guaranteed for 20 years.

This project in Derbyshire involved treating cut edge corrosion, re-coating the roof and lining the gutters. Products used were * Metalaseal BBA Approved metal roof coating system * SWT Primer (to treat rust in the gutters and cut edges) * Liquasil One and Non-Sag Sealer to line the gutters. The project is covered by the unique Liquasil Latent Defects Guarantee, which is written specifically for Liquasil and underwritten by an A-Rated, Lloyds of London insurer.

This project involved sealing a metal gutter in Glasgow. Leaks were present at most of the steel profile joints and rust was evident throughout. Heavy rust and soiling was first removed and then the entire length of the gutter was treated with Liquasil's corrosion primer, to prevent further rusting. Once cured, Liquasil Non Sag Sealer was applied to all joints. Non Sag Sealer has 1400% elasticity, to cope with extreme thermal movement. The whole gutter was then coated with Liquasil One to form a seamless and leak-free gutter lining.

This project, to coat approximately 2000 sq metres of asbestos roof with the BBA Approved Asbestsoeal system is a lesson for all in correct health and safety. Liquasil provides all approved installers with H&S training as standard. This deals with correct use of netting, scaffold, walkways, work platforms and waste water filtration from asbestos roof cleaning. Having already completed 500sq metres on a unit a year previously, the contractor was invited back to complete the rest of the block, which is the best possible endorsement.

Impact Group UK have been lucky enough to have been part of transforming the vaults of London’s historical Royal Exchange.We supplied and installed ImpactPRO to the Vaults Kitchen. The space will consist of a 7,000-square-foot bar and restaurant, The Libertine, a drinking and dining destination that has been in the planning since pre-pandemic times.Paying homage to the building’s history as the first venue to serve alcohol in London with a Royal Licence, The Libertine will feature a large bar, more casual drinking and dining spaces, as well as two private dining rooms and a restaurant.It’s brought to you by "Incipio" (the group behind Pergola, The Prince, and Lost in Brixton) who intend to bring to life the histories and stories of the Square Mile in this historic space.

Prior Park College is a Grade 1 listed building which stands on a very large hill overlooking the city of Bath and dates back to 1830's, so as you'd expect, this project came with some very interesting quirks.Impact supplied and installed ImpactPRO to the College's main kitchen and store areas.

The addition of three extra stories to a traditionally built structure required a lightweight SIPS frame with FastClad brick slip system external skin, utilising the same bricks as the lower structure, to enable this to be achieved.This award winning project was created to meet the huge demand in London for high-quality, purpose-built Build to Rent apartments. Designed by Newground Architects, Rehearsal Rooms was one of London’s first institutionally backed BTR schemes. FastClad was chosen for it’s weight, ease of installation, fire properties, as well being indistinguishable from the areas of traditionally laid masonry.
