Specified because of it's unique BBA Approval and Latent Defects Insurance Guarantee, Asbestoseal was applied to this asbestos cement roof in Warwickshire. The roof was first steam cleaned using 150°c steam, removing all moss and lichen. Metal fixings were treated with Liquasil's corrosion primer and then sealed using Non-Sag Sealer. The entire roof surface was then coated with Asbestoseal 20 to provide long term protection and add considerably to the life of the roof. The metal gutters were lined with Liquasil's seamless silicone gutter lining system

The project was designed by Apart Design & Architecture and completed in 2017.The nature of TechnoWood products allows the touch and feel of real wood, the organic flow of the grain adds to the biophilic nature of the product.Considering the complexity of creating this in sold timber would have been costly, steaming and veneering would have had issues from the start. Svetlina Educational Complex uses whiteboard paint to redesign a STEAM creative area for the next generation of masterminds as writable walls ensure higher collaboration, creativity and productivity. The latter are an innovation that perfectly matches the innovative spirit of the Primary School of this Educational Complex. ESCREO whiteboard paint has been applied as part of the refurbishment of the school to integrate the STEAM programme into its holistic education system which is under the auspices of UNESCO. Lusio Architects who took lead of the project knew that Svetlina and ESCREO are united by the idea of being innovators in their fields. Rekortan M (Re-Topping) and Polytan SMART at Willesden Sports Centre, LondonTHE POWER OF SPORTWillesden Sports Centre is a fitness, leisure and community centre in North London. In Willesden, a neighbourhood not far from the famous Wembley Stadium, there is an expansive sports complex that includes the whole of King Edward VII Park. The complex encompasses two swimming pools, a fitness studio, a sports hall with a 60-metre indoor track and four courts, as well as steam rooms and saunas. For outdoor sports, there is an athletics facility with six 400-metre lanes and an integrated sprinting track with two additional lanes, along with facilities for various jumping and throwing disciplines.All the lanes of the athletics track were renewed with Rekortan M in brick red in the course of a full renovation in 2022. The consistency of the Rekortan M tread strikes the perfect balance between excellent shock absorption and maximum acceleration – properties that are appreciated by both middle-distance and short-distance runners alike. All the running and run-up tracks were refurbished using the re-topping process. This means that used and worn synthetic surfaces are completely technically and cosmetically restored. Re-topping is not only an extremely economical and explicitly sustainable solution for the renovation of sports facilities. It also allows the existing elastic substructures to remain in place, rather than being disposed of.The athletics facility at Willesden Sports Centre was also fitted with two Polytan SMART systems for the precise measurement and documentation of training performance. On one of the running tracks and sprinting tracks, athletes can conduct agility tests, jumping tests, endurance tests and sprint tests. Multiple Polytan SMART timing gates are integrated in the lanes.The athletics facility at Willesden Sports Centre can be booked by schools and clubs. Among them are the Willesden Triathlon Club and, in particular, the Track Academy. At the latter, former international athletes, coaches, mentors and teachers are of the belief that sport and education have the power to change people’s lives for the better. Under the motto “The Power of Sport”, they support disadvantaged young people to realise their potential and develop in a positive way. This includes building their self-confidence, affirming their self-worth and helping them to find the courage to acquire new skills and to plan and shape their own future.Currently, almost 400 young athletes train at the Track Academy at Willesden Sports Centre every week. We share this belief in the social power of sport, especially for disadvantaged children and young people, and are proud to support the goals of the Track Academy with our surfaces and our Polytan SMART system.

Abode was the tap designer of choice to inject eco-luxe convenience to a unique water tower restoration project in Castle Acre, Norfolk with Pronteau: a high-specification range of steaming hot water taps. Paul Illingworth, Design Manager at Abode says, “We were delighted to be a part of this project alongside property owner Dennis Pedersen and Tonkin Liu Architects, as they meticulously came together to reimagine a derelict industrial water tank into a contemporary, family home. Dennis purchased the water tower at auction for £20,000 in 2015, and then project-managed all the building work himself to save money and realize Tonkin Liu’s architectural vision with the help of a local builder. Following the addition of a new CLT timber tower and careful infilling, the original water tank is now an open-plan kitchen living space complete with Pronteau Propure 4 IN 1 steaming hot water tap in ultra-fashionable Urban Copper finish. As the property needs to cater to a family of four, the additional breakfast room on the second floor, is also designed with a Pronteau Propure 4 IN 1, to ensure the height of convenience, design continuity and eco luxury in the modern home and living space.”  The 160 sqm Water Tower project, is testament to the increasing demand and complexity in personalised building projects across the UK.
