Class A Office & Luxury Hotel Complex - creates an imposing sight on the skyline of Shenzhen in China. The development features two towers, a ballroom pavilion and a large elevated pedestrian park with walkways that connect the site’s park with two of the city’s existing parks - Lotus Hill and Beacon Hill. What is immediately obvious is the development’s application of glass, which enables to create an ultrasmooth skin on the skyscrapers thanks to a façade design that uses as few mullions as possible.

Harbour Central is one of the most recent developments in Canary Wharf, one of London’s two financial centres. There will be 5 residential buildings and a leisure complex. The main building of the development will be the Maine Tower with 42 floors. The upper floors are quite promising, as they will comprise breath-taking panoramic views of London. The Effisus Breather breathable membrane was the chosen solution for this project, in order to ensure the watertightness of the façade, and, at the same time, to allow ventilation of the façades components.

The Sky View development is a mixed-use twin-tower complex, with a Hotel, residences and serviced apartments, in downtown Dubai. The new landmark will be known as the figurative gateway to Downtown Dubai. The development has an unique view, with the Burj Khalifa (the world’s tallest building) on one side, and the Arabian Gulf on the other. The chosen solution for sealing the towers’ facade connections as Effisus Ecofacade, in order to protect the towers against water damage and to improve their energy efficiency.

With a purpose-built development on the cards in its home town of Wrexham, Wales; Moneypenny had a 10-acre plot with which to design a new office space which could house up to 1,000 employees. However, unlike many traditional office projects of this nature; Moneypenny approached the building design in a very unique way. THE PROJECTThe Royal Wharf is a new town built within the city of London, the development introduced over 3000 new residential units in a prominent and beautiful riverside location. Headed up by Ballymore, this location is over 40 acres of land, minutes from Canary Wharf and just half an hour from Oxford Street. Making it a very desirable place to live in London. The idea was to bring a community within the development, to ensure this there is also a new school, GP surgery, high street, pubs, and community centre.The amenities offered include a concierge service, gym and swimming pool, parks, and a riverside walk. The development boasts a rich and textured community.THE PRODUCTThe Safety Letterbox was delighted to work with Ballymore again on the incredible development. We supplied over 3000 units of apartments and homes all over the neighborhood. Ballymore Decided on our front entry/front retrieval H1 steel flap letterboxes. These horizontal mailboxes were also fitted with an aperture restructure to comply with the Secured by Design Home 2019.Powder-coated in a stunning bespoke Satin Gold with vinyl lettering for identification, they really do look incredible within the multiple building of the Royal Wharf.

Bream Street is a mixed-use development of seven buildings, including 202 modern 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, retail, employment and leisure spaces. Overlooking the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, this development includes 30% affordable housing. The scheme consists of demolishing a post-war commercial building to deliver a series of buildings set around three shared gardens within walking distance to Hackney Wick Overground station.Cellecta’s ScreedBoard 20 was specified by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris due to it being the ideal overlay floorboard for acoustic applications. ScreedBoard 20 was laid upon the first floor over PIR to achieve U Values, as the build could not accept a wet screed due to weight restrictions upon the ground.L&Q were awarded this 5,500m² contract to construct this development in Fish Village within Bow.

Lucent House is a redevelopment scheme of nine residential flats ranging from one, two and three bedrooms with a commercial unit on the ground floor. This six-floor development with a penthouse occupying the top level, offers private balconies or terraces to all apartments. Each home is built with natural light and space at the heart of the design, the name Lucent was chosen to reflect this central theme. Offering access to the city via convenient transport links, the abundance of greenery is overwhelming.Cellecta Gobi G2-25 was specified by Manor Architects due to it being the ideal solution to level an uneven concrete separating floor and provide all the benefits an underfloor heating system can deliver, with the added advantages of rapid heat transfer capabilities and outstanding acoustic performance.Goldrose Sharpe Developments was supplied 1,000m² of Cellecta products to develop these flats in Stoke Newington in Hackney.

Hurricane Court is a conversion of offices into 84 one and two bedroom contemporary apartments and studios. The name is derived from the Hawker Hurricane aircraft manufactured here in the 1940’s. Within five miles of Heathrow, this development is the first ever courtyard scheme and residential private balcony terraces in Langley. By developing a gated residential space, this project becomes a microcosm, a community within the already idyllic community of Langley.Cellecta’s RUBBERfon Cradles were specified by p-ad due to them being Robust Detail FFT2 compliant and allowing easy integration of an underfloor heating system. RUBBERfon Cradles utilise incremental high impact plastic packers and elevation blocks to level an uneven structural floor quickly and easily. Softwood battens are then used to support the floor decking board.Nacropolis Group was supplied 2,500m² of Cellecta products to develop these apartments in the village of Langley in Berkshire.

New Stratford Works is a collection of 154 homes featuring one, two and three-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom Garden and Sky Villas. Providing private, affordable rent and shared ownership properties, along with two commercial spaces and a linear park which forms the central spine of the development, fronting onto the new woodland designed Linear Park. This development forms part of the major post-Olympic regeneration masterplan for the London Borough of Newham, with Elizabeth Line that gives access to central London within 45 minutes.Cellecta’s ScreedBoard 20 was specified by PRP as it is the ideal overlay floorboard for acoustic application incorporating underfloor heating applications due to its low thermal resistance enables the system to run more efficiently, saving on running costs and improving reaction times.Higgins Homes was awarded this 14,000m² contract for this development in London.

The Wharf consists of 200 one, two, or three bedroom social housing apartments, with some featuring balconies and Juliet balconies. Alongside this development, a shop and a coffee shop are located on the ground floor, along with parking and bike racks. The site was formally known as The Wharf pub, which was demolished in 2016. Permission was granted for signs reading ‘The Wharf’ to be installed on some of the blocks of flats, which have been split into different blocks around the site, varying between three and seven storeys.Cellecta’s ScreedBoard 28 was specified by Morgan2Morgan Architects due to it being suitable for all floor types and is frequently viewed as the solution of choice for new build and refurbishment developments. Its interlocking edges for installation convenience, high density, and unique resilient layer provides unrivalled acoustic performance.Willis Construction was awarded this 5,000m² contract for this development in Cardiff Bay.

19 Queen Elizabeth Street - a former warehouse, located in London, dates back to its construction in 1904. A redevelopment plan was set in motion to transform this space into a versatile mixed-use scheme. Burwell Architects designed both office spaces and 10 luxury apartments - including a new roof extension, creating a fourth floor.To achieve this transformation, property developer Hollybrook Homes along with Dmitro Developments opted to clad the new level with our VitraDual aluminium panels.The choice of the 5361 Corton 2 (Naturaline Metal Colour) panels not only added a contemporary feel to the new structure, but also ensured durability and longevity.Hollybrook Homes received accolades for the redevelopment, including the Premier Guarantee Office Development of the Year award and the Highly Commended Premier Guarantee Excellence award for Refurbishments/Conversion. Testament to the exceptional work and thoughtful design that went into this transformation.

This housing development required a retaining wall solution but presented challenges in terms of limited space and existing services. Two retaining walls were required at the sides of the entrance to Nicholls Lane housing development. While a Geogrid Reinforced Backfill method was appropriate for the Secura Grand retaining wall on the righthand side of the development, the retaining wall on the left was met with the challenges of limited space and existing services. The highway boundary limited the amount of space available to construct the retaining wall on the left- hand side. The existing services present within the retained soil caused further complexities. On this occasion minimising excavation was crucial due to the services within the retained soil. Efficient use of land was vital as the Secura wall didn’t have the room at the back for geogrid or for no-fines concrete backfill. It was desirable that both walls at the sides of the entrance looked the same despite their different conditions.

Their expansion required a modern four-storey development containing state-of-the-art offices and laboratories.InterLace designed, manufactured and installed electric and hand-operated roller blinds and venetian blinds across multi-use spaces. The design required specialist engineered supports and, blinds are operated using a central control system.

THE PROJECTLondon City Island is a high-end residential and commercial neighbourhood development that takes inspiration from the very best of global metropolitan communities; combining bold architecture and pioneering urban design.The development is located in an extremely well-connected site between the financial might of Canary Wharf and trendy East London. London City Island is home to 1600 residential properties, 20,000 square metres of commercial office space, cafes, shops, restaurants and cultural facilities; offering something for everyone. We are once again delighted to be involved within this vibrant new and exciting site.THE PRODUCTThe London City Island development is split over a number of differences phases and blocks, with each development having a slightly different requirement and specification for mailboxes. A number of different mailbox models were used on the project, to match the different design finishes of each phase of the development.Our horizontal fire rated 2 mailboxes were used on two phases where there was a specific requirement for a post box to meet a Class 0 Part 22 1 hour integrity only fire rating. The first bank of mailboxes are wall recessed and fitted with a surrounding trim to provide the mailboxes with a clean finish from the mailbox to the installation wall. This bank of mailboxes were assembled into a configuration of 9 high x 9 wide prior to despatch, allowing easy installation once on site. The mailboxes have been finished in a non-standard colour (D2525-Y2217 matt) and engraved on the inward-sprung flap with an apartment number in a contrasting jet black colour.The second bank of fire rated 2 mailboxes also conformed to Part 22 fire rating standards. This bank was configured into a bank of 4 high x 6 wide mailboxes, finished in a standard colour chosen from the RAL colour chart and engraved in a contrasting white engraving on the inward-sprung flap.The third bank of mailboxes is located in a dedicated mailroom, wall recessed to maximise room for residents and mail delivery personnel to use the mailboxes. As is common practice with all wall recessed mailboxes, these banks of post boxes have also been fitted with a surrounding trim, ensuring the highest finish quality is achieved on the development.Also used on the project were the MODA mailboxes in the horizontal orientation with a width of 260mm. The MODA mailbox is popular with clients requiring a versatile and attractive product particularly useful for multi-coloured and multi-sized arrangements. This phase of the London City Island development shows how the MODA mailbox can be used in a more straightforward manner with a classic bank of wall recessed mailboxes finish in a single colour. Each mailbox has been engraving on the opening flap, infilled in a contrasting silver colour finish.All mailboxes on this development are in front / out front, allowing for mail to delivered and retrieved through the front face.

Each new development will overlook over 9 acres of landscape gardens.Close to Fryent Country Park with 250 acres of rolling fields and woods, the development has been designed with an emphasis on creating a community for relaxation, sports and play. To further enjoy indoor/outdoor living, all new release apartments and duplexes offer a tranquil private balcony and/or outdoor terrace space. The full development is due to be complete 2021.The SolutionEnviroBuild provided just under 400 m² of Hyperion Pioneer Walnut and Oak decking for the residential terraces. Approximately 60 1.25inch CX cavity lintels were supplied, which support the sharp, unusual shape of the architect-designed buildings, were chosen for their strength, reliability and thermal capabilities.The lintels support the exterior window and door features; special corner lintels support the external over-eaves, while large window openings elegantly contour the shape of each house. The Bath Spa University development is an attractive courtyard design with individual houses for up to 10 students where 561 will be housed in these new residential units amidst the beautiful countryside. The objective of the scheme was to deliver with minimal disruption to the student's experience on a tight schedule maximising the use of the summer holiday period to suit delivering the programme deadline. Phase 2 of the Bath Spa University development consists of over eight blocks, each utilising an application of external wall insulation covering 4,800m2with a value of £665.000.

Hanham Hall is a multi-award winning development of 185 homes located 7km from Bristol city centre. It has become the benchmark for sustainable housing development, meeting the projected 2015 Zero-Carbon targets. The project used cutting edge building technology in the form of SIPS panels which were tested for sound and airtightness by BSRIA and co-heating by Oxford Brooks University. Siniat's Bluclad was an integral part of the SIPS panel, providing a substrate for the final external render finish.

Hotel Indigo’s first Manchester establishment was recently developed, and required a considered decoration to unify two different styles of architecture.

The Stephenson Quarter in Newcastle is a new city centre development near to the central train station. Artform Urban Furniture were involved in the project from an early stage, helping to steer the design process. They were asked to supply a range of products that complemented each other but also that had the ability to be adapted, to contain specific branding that referenced the commercial development’s name. The final products recommended for this function included: the Word Bollard, the Vision Illuminated Bollard, the Hesperia Removable Bollard and the Yes Litter Bin.
