Hailed by David Cameron as “brilliant news for UK manufacturing and for the local community” it is also brilliant news for Naylor Lintels. We are proud to have supplied hundreds of our Hi Spec, Fair Faced and Fire lintels to this production facility through Caxton Builders, who are sub contracting to John Sisk Ltd and all supplied by Dunpark Civils and Lintels, Bilston.

These are the 32 FalcoBloc picnic tables Falco supplied to Euston Railway Station back in April 2008. Now fourteen years on, after continuous use all day every day within the capital, the picnic tables are in as good of a condition now as when they were first supplied!Each picnic table was repainted during lockdown to continue to protect each unit from weather and general wear and tear, enabling each picnic table to last another ten years and beyond!Back in 2008, when Network Rail was looking to upgrade the concourse outside Euston station, they approached Falco to develop a bespoke picnic table solution. Based on the original FalcoBloc range of seating, the new design for the main West Coast terminus was specially adapted to meet the needs of the travelling public. Falco’s street furniture design team took the popular FalcoBloc table and adapted it in conjunction with the requirements of Network Rail’s station management team. Versa tables aren’t just for dining! Wellington School were in need of a flexible, robust and multi-use dining furniture solution that could be used for a variety of activities throughout the school day. The furniture needed to stand up to years of daily use from over 1,300 students.Our Benchmark and ConverTables proved to be the perfect solution to meet their specific needs. The former Boothen Neighbourhood Centre in Stoke has been given a new lease of life thanks to the MESC Table Tennis Club (MESC TTC) who have taken the facility on as their new base - attracting players from outside the local area. The club, which has been in existence for over 60 years now boasts 90m2 of world class beating Taraflex® Table Tennis Sports floor from international flooring specialist Gerflor in ‘Red’ for their main sports room and it looks first class.MESC TTC is a Table Tennis England “Premier Club and it has members of all ages ranging from 8-80+ years of age. They also coach juniors and have teams in the National Cadet and Junior League. The intention is that the new venue will move the club forward and eventually become a centre of excellence in the area. The building is now in use seven days a week and offers a place for both experienced and developing table tennis players of all ages to hone their skills.Malcolm Dawson, Chairman, MESC TTC commented, “The project came about because we were moving to our new premises, which we took over from the Local Authority as part of a Community Asset Transfer. We had been developing the venue from a very small hall, with offices and storerooms into a fit for purpose table tennis specific venue. This involved security fencing outside, security cameras, installing a new ceiling plus LED lighting, removing internal walls, and finally upgrading the sports floor to an Olympic pedigree solution.”Malcolm Dawson added, “We chose Gerflor’s Taraflex Table Tennis Sports Floor after much research, and as this flooring is approved by the ITTF (which is the Table Tennis’s international governing body), we knew it would be perfectly fit for purpose and our user’s needs.”The installation of the Gerflor Taraflex® Table Tennis Sports floor would need to be undertaken by a company who would meet the high levels of professionalism that the laying of the new floor would demand. Manchester-based XL Gym Interiors Ltd would be the appointed flooring contractor. The staff at XL Gym Interiors have worked in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years, and witnessed trends come and go. Their job is to make sports facilities current, interesting, and an enjoyable space to train and compete in.

The Goodwin Development Trust are an organisation committed to improving the quality of life within the communities of Hull. Their Octagon Centre provides a range of services that meets the many needs of the community which includes floor space for the Goodwin Table Tennis Club (GTTC) to practice and play on. Nishkam School required a complete end-to-end supply, delivery and installation of fixed and loose furniture in their stunning new-build West London school which spanned three floors and two wings. Ashmead Combined School in Aylesbury can now set up their lunchtime furniture in 8 minutes – that’s seating for 240 students!The six double Wall Pockets which seat approximately 240 pupils takes around eight minutes to set up; a massive time saving on their previous furniture. This time-saving in turn allows the hall to be used as a sports facility for longer each day.The fold-away system ultimately pays for itself as the need for fewer staff to set-up is saving the school money on a daily basis. Boxgrove’s multi-use hall was the perfect candidate for the Versa Wall Pocket system. They struggled daily with seating their students in a tight timeframe and only had a very limited area to store their dining furniture.Our teams installed two quadruple and one triple Wall Pocket systems in the hall, complete in the school’s brand colours. The school can now store over 17 metres of tables and benching in under 60cms on the wall – that’s seating for up to 80 students!Boxgrove now has a flexible system that is seriously space-efficient! Measurements made on a glass measuring table led to unusable results because the isolator used was unable to cope with the lateral stiffness of the products used. Only the low-frequency pneumatic isolators PAL 21 from ACE with automatic level control could provide a remedy. A special feature of these membrane pneumatic isolators lies in the level control valve, which has, by virtue of its construction, an above-average longevity. The Versa Team were back at a prestigious school in Mumbai, India installing phase two of our famous Wall Pockets dining systems.Another entire level of this school has been fitted with Wall Pockets to create a multi-purpose area.Over 1,400 students can now be seated for dining or self-study with our innovative dining systems – which can then be stored away in minutes for other activities!The Versa Team are off to visit two more sites today before heading back to the UK this weekend!

Ten Traffic Street is a 522-bed student accommodation serving luxury living located on a prominent site within Nottingham City Centre. The project was delivered by Jensco and offers excellent amenities such as a cinema, games room, study spaces, onsite coffee shop, indoor and outdoor Gyms and multiple outdoor communal spaces including a roof terrace. Artform Urban worked closely with the Landscape architects, Ares Landscape to provide a substantial package of premium external furniture to ensure the high-end finish extends to the outdoor spaces. The complex is spread across 2 buildings with courtyards and one roof terrace overlooking the city. In total, there are 4 external spaces - each has its own identifiable aesthetic which is driven by the building fascias and window frame colouring which is then reflected in the outdoor furniture.The roof terrace is surrounded by a large Inspira Modular Planting System installation powder-coated in a unique Khaki Grey - bringing colour and natural benefits to the space. The planters house plants and small trees that provide dappled shade to ensure residents can enjoy the terrace on hotter days. Tables, benches, and a Box Litter Bin all in a coordinated colour palette, provide social seating and dining spaces and vibrant plastic Chill Lounger’s and Hop Op 500’s offer a more casual seating option for residents.The ground floor courtyards feature a continuation of benches and Box litter bins - with all steelwork powder coated in a specific colour for each space. An external gym has been provided in the larger courtyard and features two Endurance Wellness Stone installations. These unique sculptural pebbles include stainless steel fixtures to accommodate a variety of exercises. This is the first installation in the UK of these products that are part of a wider range of premium external gym equipment named MyEquilibria. This unique fitness range aims to redefine the workout experience by combining art, high-end design and community. As final additions to the spaces Artform Urban provided an extensive bike parking package as well as Fuente Drinking Fountain’s to encourage students to cycle and reduce plastic waste. 

Bishop David Brown School required a dining solution that increased student capacity for lunchtime dining in next-to-no-space.Versa delivered five double Wall Pocket systems. That’s seating for up to 200 students in one sitting at lunchtime.They’ll have some happy mealtime staff and students we guarantee!
