Application

For larger parking spaces in commercial spaces, car parks and apartment blocks.
The Zaptec Pro Backplate is required for the installation of Zaptec Pro and makes the installation simple, safe and neat.
The Zaptec backplate can also be used where an installation only requires a small number of active chargers from day one, but the owner wishes to complete the infrastructure in one go, and then simply add the Zaptec Pro cover as demand requires.

Description

The Zaptec Pro is an electric car charging unit for commercial spaces, car parks and apartment blocks.

The Zaptec Pro charging system uses all available capacity and distributes it intelligently between the charging stations. Zaptec Pro performs load and phase balancing, and the charging station switches dynamically between one-phase and three-phase charging for the best possible utilisation.

With up to 22 kW of power, you can charge your EV up to a driving range of around 100 miles in only one hour.

This provides a seamless distribution of power among all vehicles, without overloading the facility. The system ensures an efficient and equitable charging experience for users – no matter how many there are.
Scalable charging system - When installing Zaptec Pro, the infrastructure can be set up for all parking spaces. If there is increased demand for charging, you can quickly and easily scale the existing infrastructure with no additional effort or investment in the fuse box.
Internet connection - Zaptec Pro offers a number of options to provide connectivity including 4G LTE-M, WiFi and Power Line Communication.
Distribute costs fairly - Know that your vehicle receives precisely the amount of electricity you pay for. Zaptec Pro (MID) is equipped with a self-developed, built-in measuring instrument that adheres to the European Union’s Measuring Instruments Directive (MID). You can also monitor how much power is used in each charging session from the display on the charging station.
A charge point operator (CPO) is required on all Pro installs as they operate the chargers, take payments and assist the managing agent. TAP Electric is one of Zaptec's CPO partners.
