Description
Icopal Alumite is a sand surfaced, bituminous, gas retardant damp proof membrane, for use alone or in conjunction with Alugram SBS. It is a laminate of heavy duty aluminium, modified bitumen and high strength carrier, with a light sand finish. Alumite has a low permeability to radon, methane and other gases.
Alumite is commonly used as a damp proof course material, but the 1000 mm width may also be used as a damp proof membrane.
Application:
May be torch applied or loose laid with fully sealed laps.
Can be used with Icopal Siplast Bitumen Primer.
