WoodCream

Rubio WoodCream is a breathable hydrophobic wax-based cream that colours and protects wood and makes it water-repellent. The hydrophobic Rubio WoodCream technology in combination with its unique cream structure offers both on product as on application level important benefits. This moisture-regulating cream provides a water-repellent and self-cleaning wood protection. The long contact technology ensures a perfect absorption of the cream into

the wood’s pores, without covering them, thus ensuring the wood’s natural moisture balance and structure. Rubio WoodCream gives wood surfaces a semi-transparent, aged, or covering look and is available in three colour collections: The Grey Collection, The Traditional Collection, and The Scandinavian Collection. A transparent version (#0) is also available in order to create a noncoloured effect. While this version has no UV-filter it allows the wood to age naturally, but it still protects the wood and makes it water-repellent. This transparent version will also protect already aged wood.

Depending on the chosen colour, wood type and orientation of the vertical wood, the colour will last between 5 to 10 years. After about 5 years, the pearl effect (water-beading) will gradually diminish.

In order to decrease the colour intensity of the existing Rubio WoodCream colours, simply dilute with Rubio WoodCream Softener.
