Description
Westbury timber wood sash windows offer a distinctive style, period authenticity and traditional sight lines. The Box Sash Windows use pulleys, cords and weights to counter balance the top and bottom sashes. Offering the best of tradition and modern technology, they retain authentic heritage styling with the latest technology for improved security, thermal and acoustic performance.
Features and benefits:
- Incorporate a heritage design.
- Distinctive design features include decorative sash horns, a concealed trickle vent detail, deep moulded lamb’s tongue profiles with 21 mm glazing bars and internally moulded staff beads.
- The weights are housed in a ‘box’ created by liners extending the frame on each side internally and externally.
- These energy-efficient timber windows are made from premium grade, knot-free engineered Accoya and European Redwood. Accoya is a sustainable wood that is laminated to provide excellent stability and a superior finish.
- Treated with a three-coat, spray-applied, microporous paint system prior to delivery.
