WallBeam® is a fire-rated structural beam for riser walls, offering 120 mins fire resistance, 5 kN/m load capacity, and easy installation with AlphaRiser channels for strength and flexibility.
Application
The Comtec WallBeam is a multi-functional structural element designed to support fire-resisting partition walls, retain walls from below, and incorporate deflection head details. It can be used as part of an AlphaRiser unit or as a standalone component fixed directly to walls or floors.
System integration:
- Can be used to support or retain fire-rated walls.
- Provides structural and fire-rated continuity within AlphaRiser assemblies.
- Allows joist integration and fixing of services into the AlphaRiser channels.
Description
WallBeam is a innovative structural support beam that gives more than 120 minutes of vertical and horizontal fire stopping and provides a suitable product for supporting riser partition walls. The design incorporates the AlphaRiser channel profile and therefore enables full compatibility with the GRP support joists of lateral accommodation of additional WallBeams.
