Application

Suitable for cavities up to 50–125 mm for domestic housing and small commercial developments up to three storeys or not higher than 15 m. WT2 can be used in areas where wind speeds are less than 56 m/s or where calculations prove it suitable. Satisfies most standard masonry to masonry, masonry to steelwork and masonry to concrete applications.

Description

Stainless steel wall ties designed to replace the ‘double triangle tie’ as a general-purpose tie.


Features and benefits:

  • Can be used in conjunction with the Wincro WIC Insulation Retaining Clip.
  • Meets the requirements of BS EN 845-1 as a Type 2 tie.
  • Has a measured dynamic stiffness of <113 MN/m³, meeting the performance requirements of Building Regulations (E&W) Approved Document E as a Type B tie.
  • Assessed independently by the BRE and has NHBC approval for technical requirements.
  • CE marked to BS EN 845-1.
