The new Air Open and Vapour Permeable breather membrane is suitable for all roof types, without the need for any additional ventilation at ridge level as recommended in the guidance from the NHBC.
Suitable for all roof types, including cold and unsupported roofs, and Scottish practice such as sarking and butt-jointed planks without the need for a vapour control layer or any additional ventilation at ridge level (as recommended in the guidance from the NHBC). To be installed under tiles and slates, for use as an underlay in both pitched roof and walling applications.
Its outstanding air permeability, low vapour resistance, excellent watertightness makes it an effective breather membrane when installed under tiles and slates. These characteristics makes the Vent 3 AIR compliant for all roof structures up and down the UK.
The Vent 3 AIR will give airflow and allow the movement of vapour moisture from the roof space therefore preventing the risk of interstitial condensation within the roof in accordance with BS 5250 and NHBC requirements.
With an air permeability that far exceeds that of the 50 Pascals to BS EN 12114 our air open breather is also fully compliant to the BS 5534:2014+A2:2018 meeting zones 1-3 at 345mm batten width.
Air permeable, high performance breathable membrane suitable for use in a range of applications.
