Application

For use on architectural metalwork, external and internal, including aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel, cast metals, galvanized and zinc-sprayed substrates.

Suitable for the following environments: Interior Dry (C1), Rural (C2), Urban (C3), Industrial (C4), Coastal (C5).

Typical applications include:

  • Architectural metalwork, balustrades and railings, balconies, feature steelwork, handrails, juliet balconies, cosmetic steelwork, staircases, facade cladding, architectural cast iron, gates, sculptures, public realm furniture, feature structural steel, curtain walling, canopies, planters, landscape edging.

The Vantage Range | Classic powders are designed for areas where attention to aesthetics and quality is important.

Available in an exclusive selection of superior quality shades across several collections to compliment current architectural design trends. The PPC colour collections include: Brass, Bronze, Gold, Grey, Pink and Gingerbread and are available in low sheen finishes.

  • Aesthetic finish: consists of high grade architectural powders rather than standard industrial powder finishes.
  • High performing finish: excellent for architectural applications, both internal and external, and ideally suited to public spaces and high-traffic areas due to its superior resistance to wear and tear.
  • Enhanced durability: offers good resistance to scratches and marking, it's easy to clean, durable and repairable. Long-term cosmetic and functional protection providing a long-lasting finish.
  • Weather resistance: highly weather-resistant and UV stable.
  • International Standards of Quality Assurance: Meets Qualicoat and Qualisteelcoat standards - the International Gold Standards in coating systems for aluminium and steel, providing the highest levels of quality assurance.
  • Pretreatment compatibility: compatible with a variety of anti-corrosion treatments including Bradleys Qualizinc Ultra-Life Arc Metal Spray. Used in conjunction with Bradleys Bondakote Primer system creates excellent adhesion and greater longevity.
  • Bespoke finishes: in addition to the range of colours available, bespoke colour matching and special effect finishes are available upon special request.

Vantage Range | Classic offers several environmental benefits within the parameters of ISO 14001 environmental management system:

  • Low VOC emissions: Vantage Range | Classic finishes emit minimal volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the air. VOCs contribute to air pollution and can harm human health.
  • Efficient application: when you apply Vantage Range | Classic powder coating, about 90% of what’s sprayed adheres to the metal surface. The remaining powder can be collected, filtered, and reused. Any leftover powder is safely disposed of as inert material.
  • No hazardous waste: unlike some wet paint processes, Vantage Range | Classic powder coating does not produce hazardous waste. The process takes place in sealed booths, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
  • Elimination of hazardous substances: Vantage Range | Classic finishes do not require hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).
  • Enhanced durability: Vantage Range | Classic-finished surfaces are highly durable, reducing the need for frequent repair. Long-lasting finishes mean fewer resources used over time.
  • TGIC-free: eliminating the risk of TGIC related adverse health effects.
  • Lightweight materials: Vantage Range | Classic powder coating is a lightweight material adding no significant weight to the substrate which contributes to energy-efficient designs.

Impact resistance

Using normal corrected vision, the organic coating shall not show any sign of detachment following the tape pull adhesion test.

Mortar resistance
