Application
- At the abutment of a pitched roof with a cavity wall.
- On external walls (not exceeding 150 mm thickness) built from blockwork or stone with regular course heights, including mortar of approx. 225 mm.
- On roof pitches of 12.5° and above.
- Clear cavity widths of 50–125 mm.
Description
Stepped cavity tray system for blockwork/ stonework construction of 225 mm course heights.
Features and benefits:
- 150 mm high back upstand exceeds minimum requirements.
- Permanent stopend protects the perpendicular joint and cuts out water backtracking along the blockwork/ stonework.
- Angled section between cavity tray base and rear upstand automatically sheds water to the outer leaf Cavity tray builds into the outer leaf only to speed up installation and allow both inner and outer leafs to be built independently if required.
- Choice of two lengths:
- 625 mm for roof pitches of 25° or above;
- 1250 mm for roof pitches of 12.5–22.5°.
- Can be specified separately with a pre-applied polystyrene strip mortar barrier.
