Description

Semi-flush partition panel wall system for cleanrooms. The modular design allows truly bespoke cleanroom construction, to enable the highest levels of hygiene and contamination safety.

UltraTech systems are composed of high performance insulated panels featuring a flat non-porous surface to both sides which aids cleaning and offers high levels of resistance to mould, moisture ingress and bacterial growth, ensuring a controlled, sterile environment that minimizes airborne particles and micro-organisms.

Features and benefits:

  • Panels are available in a selection of core options.
  • All panels include a nominal gap of 2–4 mm for silicone seal.
  • Compatible with both UltraTech Precision (flush) and Versatile (semi-flush) partition panel systems. A range of co-ordinating single and double doors, windows, light fixtures and accessories is available for a fully integrated, bespoke cleanroom solution - consult manufacturer for details.
  • Fully recyclable at end of life (through conventional shredder plants).
  • Global warming potential (GWP): Low, with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP).

Panel core:

- ECOsafe polyisocyanurate (PIR):

  • Insulation core: Features an environmentally sustainable closed-cell PIR insulation core which is non-deleterious with zero ozone depletion potential (zero ODP).
  • Biological: Resistant to attack from mould, fungi, mildew and vermin. No urea formaldehyde is used in the manufacture of the panels. Panels can incorporate project-specific HYGIENEsafe, wash and clean down facings.
  • Panel joint: Engineered joint which achieves excellent air leakage, thermal and structural performance. The panel side joint can accommodate vapour, hygiene and fire rated seals and can be silicone sealed for regulatory compliance.

- Mineral fibre (MF):

  • Designed for cleanrooms where fire safety is important.
  • Insulation: Features a core consisting of vertically-oriented mineral fibres. As a result of this orientation, the panels provide excellent mechanical properties (high tensile and compression strength).
  • Biological: Resistant to attack from mould, fungi, mildew and vermin. No urea formaldehyde is used in the manufacture of the panels. Panels can incorporate project-specific HYGIENEsafe, wash and clean down facings.
  • Panel joint: Features an aluminium perimeter profile on all sides to create a fully flush joint. The panel side joint can accommodate a hygienic silicone seal. The cavity created between wall panels allows for a concealment of services.

- QuadCore™:

  • Biological: Normally resistant to attack from mould, fungi, mildew and vermin. No urea formaldehyde is used in the manufacture of the panels. Panels can incorporate project-specific HYGIENEsafe, wash and clean down facings.

- Kingspan CLEANsafe 316:

Cold rolled annealed austenitic stainless steel, suitable for corrosive internal environments.

- Kingspan HYGIENEsafe:

Chemically inert, antibacterial coating. A rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) phthalate-free coating applied to pre-treated metal and suitable for humid and chemically aggressive internal environments.

  • Nominal thickness: 0.63 mm (including coating).

Compatibility with STERIS products:

Selected Kingspan panel coatings (see above) have been tested by STERIS Corporation Life Sciences for compatibility. A range of STERIS cleaning agents commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry were selected and no adverse reactions with the Kingspan panel coating were reported. The range of cleaning agents used in the tests were:

  • DI Water.
  • Environ™ LpH™ Phenolic disinfectant.
  • Environ™ Vesphene™ disinfectant.
  • Septihol® Sterile Alcohol Solution.
  • Spor-Klenz® RTU cold Sterilant.
  • Vesta-Syde® SQ Quaternary disinfectant.

Wall panel options:

- Pre-formed corner panels:

Provides a flush finished external corner detail, therefore no flashing is required. Maximum width: Pre-formed corner panels finished on two sides: 1000 mm; finished on one side: 1200 mm. Available in lengths up to 3.4 m.

- Wall corner profiles:

Standard length: 3–4 m; specific lengths available on request. All profiles include folded aluminium angle brackets (50 x 50 x 3 mm).

  • Two-way profile: Extruded 3 mm-thick aluminium; 150 x 150 x 80 mm; 3.8 kg/m.
  • Three-way profile: Extruded 3 mm-thick aluminium; 200 x 150 x 80 mm; 6.04 kg/m.
  • Four-way profile: Extruded 3 mm-thick aluminium; 200 x 200 x 80 mm; 7.1 kg/m.

- Integrated conduits:

25 mm diameter rigid unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) conduits, 260 mm from panel ends. Third conduit (1200 mm-wide only) 600 mm from panel ends.

- Service conduits:

  • Provides a flush interface between wall panels where a service cavity is required. Each conduit is formed from 3 mm-thick extruded aluminium (6060 TS).
  • Horizontally-configured conduits include a central stiffener plate.
  • Dimensions: 60 mm-wide panels: 150 x 60 mm; 80 mm-wide panels: 200 x 80 mm.
  • Standard length: 3–4 m; specific lengths available on request.
  • Requires male or female interface profiles to correspond with adjacent panels.

- Electrical raceway:

  • Provides a flush interface between the UltraTech panel and electrical services.
  • Horizontally-configured raceways include a central stiffener plate.
  • Electrical accessories to be supplied by others. Compatible with the Legrand Mosaic 45 (or similar) range of sockets (European, UK or US), switches, RJ45 or USB sockets, LEDs, and more.
  • HYGIENEsafe coating can be married with Legrand Mosaic 45 anti-bacterial range.
  • Standard length: 3–4 m; specific lengths available on request.

- Flooring profile:

- Aluminium, adjustable:

  • Provides a fully flush wall panel-to-floor detail and is fully demountable.
  • Suitable for both vinyl and epoxy floor finishes.
  • Allows for a silicone seal finish between the wall panels and floor finishes.
  • Height: Adjustable from 100 to 130 mm.
  • Width: 60 mm-wide panels: 50 mm; 80 mm-wide panels: 70 mm.
  • Top profile is pre-punched with slots for levelling adjustment; these slots provide access to the M10 adjustment jacks.
  • Recessed top section of the flooring profile provides additional space for cables/ services.
  • Standard length: 6 m.

- Polyester, non-adjustable:

  • Fibre-reinforced polyester profile.
  • Normally installed recessed (4 mm each side) from the wall panel facings in order to allow for a seamless finish between the wall panel system and the vinyl or epoxy flooring.
  • Standard length: 6 m.

Coving:

- Aluminium:

  • Aluminium alloy internal corner coving profiles allow for a silicone seal finish. Aluminium pre-coving is screw fixed to the cleanroom ceiling and wall panels. The powder coated finished coving is then clipped into the pre-coving.
  • Coving profiles interface with internal three-way corner profile.

- PVC:

  • Internal corner coving has been designed to be fixed to a three-way corner profile and to interface with 55 mm PVC or 45 mm radius aluminium coving profiles.
  • PVC covings have soft edges at the wall panel junction.
