Insulated external roof panel system.
Suitable for composite roofing applications.
Trisomet® is an insulated panel manufactured as a single component suitable for roof cladding applications. As a one-fix component its consistency enables speed of installation and with a wide spaced trapezoidal steel external skin provides optimum performance for water drainage, strength and walkability. Single, double and multi span configurations are available.

Standard product features | External profile: 32 mm high trapezoidal profile with a 333 mm pitch. Internal profile: Lightly planked. Core insulation: PIR closed cell foam (CFC and HCFC free, zero ODP and GWP <5) to specification used in LPCB approval. Cover width: 1000 mm. Cut back (minimum/ maximum): 25/ 250 mm. Fire performance:
Water penetration: Laboratory testing shows evidence that the Trisomet® system is water-tight up to a pressure of 1200 Pa, which surpasses the relevant standards. Air-tightness: In accordance with Building Regulations Approved Document L2 (E&W) and Scotland (Technical Handbook Section 6 Energy) tests to EN BS 12114 shows the sealed panel of air leakage as low as 0.43 m³/h/m² at an applied pressure of 50 Pa. A practical expectation for a finished building, with effective sealing at all junctions, would be 3-5 m³/h/m². However, enhanced detailing practises on large shed buildings can realise air leakage performance figures of less than 3 m³/h/m². U-values:
Fragility class: Class B in accordance with ACR (M) 001:2005. Sound reduction (SRI) weighted values: Based on a 80 mm core, Weighted SRI Rw = 28.5 dB, further reductions can be achieved, depending on the core thickness, external skin thickness and liner used. Consult technical literature for details. Support structure: Steel purlins. Bearing width (minimum): 60 mm end lap extension plates may be required where three or more panels comprise the total roof slope. Pitch: 4 degrees (minimum). |
