Timber Frame Lintels

Description

Timber frame lintels are manufactured from pre-galvanized carbon steel to BS EN 10346: 2009 DX51D plus Z600 or grade Z275 to BS 5977-2: 1983 (BS EN 845-2: 2003). There is a minimum galvanized zinc coating of 600 g/m² (including both sides).

Heavy duty timber frame lintels are insulated with expanded polystyrene and conform to BS 13163: 2008. The lintels must be used in conjunction with lateral restraint clips and a tight fitting timber batten to prevent twisting. Requires a damp proof course over all lintels.
