Description

Rooflight glazing system with a thermally broken box-bar with continuous carrier rail, pressure plate, gasketry and decorative external cover.


Features and benefits:

  • Thermally efficient, with double and triple solar control options available.
  • Can provide long spans, which allows more daylight into rooms.
  • Designed to conform to the requirements of BS 5516: 2004, Parts 1–2 for the design and installation of sloping and vertical patent glazing.
  • Fixing to steel is with stainless steel self-drilling screws (top and bottom), or wood screws when fixing to timber.
  • Alternatively, single hole fixing shoes are available if required (consult manufacturer for details).
  • Other infills may be incorporated; suitable to receive 24–46 mm double or triple glazing and polycarbonates.
  • Photo voltaics, composite panels, glass reinforced plastic (GRP) and solar thermal panels can also be incorporated on request (consult manufacturer for details).
