Description

Available in three colour finishes to enable the blind and partially blind to distinguish between different types of crossing zones.

Red relates to controlled crossing zones, which include zebra crossings, pelican crossings, puffin crossings, toucan crossings and traffic signals with pedestrian phases. Buff distinguishes uncontrolled crossing zones like side road crossings, busy crossovers, crossings away from junctions, kerb-to-kerb humps and traffic signals without a pedestrian phase. Natural is for the ROI market.

Different flag layout patterns are used to assist blind pedestrians identify different types of crossing zones. Tactile flags are suitable for all pedestrian areas and traffic-free zones. Consult with the latest British Standard to ensure the correct flag size to suit any application.
