System 8 Low-Rise Curtain Walling has been primarily developed for ground and first floor applications, but may be installed at any level on a building provided the maximum height of each screen does not exceed 6 m, and subject to the structural sections being designed to accommodate the applicable loads in accordance with the relevant site conditions and application.

The system is thermally broken throughout by means of a continuous thermal isolator located between the external pressure plates and internal framing members.
